What model are you getting?

Just stick the case in a little ziplock bag in your pocket if you're going somewhere dusty?

Literally everything I do is dusty I work in construction
I don’t have an Ultra (yet 😂) but I’ve had 3 Stainless Steel Apple Watches over the last 4 years (series 4, 5 and 7). I deliberately chose the SS models for the Sapphire Chrystal glass. They are very hardy and despite knocking them on all sorts of surfaces I’ve never picked up a single scratch. If only iPhone screens were as good.

My black SS S5 gets banged, covered in concrete dust from drilling and there’s one tiny mark on it where I got it caught in a lift door (😂)

Strong as anything they arw

Collected my Ink Leather case from Apple yesterday, feels great and first leather case since the iPhone X - nice to see the case protects all the way round now (my X case had the bottom open)

Images below - taken 2 of the back as felt in the shade it looked like a black case!

(Not sure why photos have been added on here in landscape, when taken and showing as portrait)

Will save opening for after I finish working for the day.

OMG.

After years of faultless EE CS, I have just had an absolute nightmare. All to get the £1.50 charge removed for the eSIM.

First, the guy argued it was 50p and would only refund me £1. He wasn't shifting until I pointed out I have 2 lines (both out of contract ) with EE. He then said how about getting a new iPhone and we will upgrade you and waive the fee!!!!! I told him I have just bought one from apple.. "oh would you like another".

So he agreed to refund the £1.50. I should have said thanks and hung up. Nope stupidly I asked about a SIM only plan upgrade - he offered me 'exactly the same' full works for £33 rather than £41 so said ok, then once I accepted he said oh you need to buy a phone form us to get it. So 'upgraded' second line instead SIM only with one smart benefit (Roam further as we travel to US a lot) for £18 (currently paying £28 so a saving). Just about to hang up and get text messages to say I have lost BT sport ultimate on my main line (it was not a smart benefit, but a free add on with my plan I took out 2 years ago) and I need to re-choose all my benefits again... I said what is going on and he said oh it looks like the system has given you the £33/month plan. I pointed out I didn't want it as I lose BT sport ultimate and he said I could re-add it for £25/month!!!! By now getting frustrated and said that why were they changing my main line when I havent agreed and then on hold for 20 mins whilst he looked and eventually gcame back and said it will take an hour or so but he will 'try to revert it'. I pointed out that he will revert it as i havent agreed to anything...

Nightmare. I wish I had just paid the £1.50 eSim charge and not called....

I literally hate EE for this BS too - 3 might not have the best signal where I currently live but changing to EE and their customer is a big nope for me.

Finally got my chance to reserve my Silver PM 256 in Belfast, hopefully it all goes smoothly and they let me pay for it outright rather than going forward with iUP, exciting stuff
I selected IUP but paying outright when collecting too, do you think it's gonna be an issue?

It feels like everything is a major hassle these days dealing with most businesses. EE fluffed up some changes for me a couple of years back when I nearly went back on contract. Promised they had the phones coming and then major delays. They had to reverse my order but missed the discounts I had (that were set up weirdly a few years prior)/

I was looking at sim only tariffs last night and have to say that the O2 smart benefits or what ever they are called are much better than EE (for me anyway). I totally like to add YouTube Premium to my tariff as currently paying £15.99 a month for it. Hugely grudge it but use a lot and once you go ad free it is painful to go back.

Others have done it here in the past a sure. Say you forgot your ID or something....

I'm hoping not haha, shouldn't be too much of an issue though, seems like a pretty common thing.

my biggest worry is getting there in time after work and fighting through rush hour traffic 😬
that's why I love London lol God bless the tube
