Re scratches.

I keep mine on an Adore June socket when not used. No case, no screen protector.

No scratches on screen but a very tiny 0.5mm small almost invisible scratch on the stainless steel frame, suspect caused by having touched an object during an Apple Pay contactless payment (I use it regularly for this).

Since changing to the 14PM, my battery has been fantastic! It was awful on the 14 Pro though! Max phones definitely for the win! My sister has just got a 14PM and she absolutely loves it!

Anyone else having battery issues? The battery on my 14 Pro is awful. It’s not even lasting a day and that with just over 4 hours screen time.

You need to get that looked at!

I'm charging mine every other evening and that's on it more or less all day with messaging, emails & some browsing etc

Been using Voxi since I got my 14 Pro and not loving the speeds/coverage here in NE Scotland. Thinking about switching to an o2 sim only as cannot justify the cost of EE. And also o2 still has free EU roaming and eSim.

Anyone know of any discount codes or referrals or any other suggestions?

I’m not sure O2 will be an improvement for you where you are. Maybe get an O2 PAYG SIM and see what the coverage is like?

FWIW in the Highlands currently, I'm on Three but have bought an O2 eSim as its much better coverage. So using that for Data when required

If you’ve already got real evidence of O2’s performance then that’s good.

If you upgrade your iCloud storage just after your previous renewal, does it get prorated? Does anybody know?

I currently pay for 50GB for both my wife and I. Hers renews on 17th February and mine on 28th February. I want to upgrade to the 200GB plan as I've almost ran out of space and this should give us about a 100GB buffer. I know we're generally talking pennies but I'm more curious than anything - is it worth waiting until like 15/16th February and then upgrading?

have to admit that the shift to the PM and I've not had to even worry about the battery level on the phone.. its a beast

I'm going to make the jump to a Pro Max next, might wait until next year though and stick with my 13 for another year... 😬

Hahah this was indeed me, glad you noticed! 😆

I was sharing my iOS shortcut for people to use to track the Octopus tracker prices.
Unfortunately, the mods over at HUKD had no idea what an iOS shortcut was and couldn't understand that an iCloud link was the only real way to share the shortcut, thought it was a security risk, and deleted the most helpful comment on the 3rd hottest deal ever on the site... ah well! Helped a few people while it was up I suppose!

I do love it! .. also got the apple leather case to go with it as I had real problems with the silicon case as it was so sticky I had trouble getting it out of my pocket!
Bought ‘pristine’ on music magpie and they have £100 off at the moment on the iPhones so it was £150 less than new new!
Will probably still end up replacing again come September .. I just can’t stop myself!

Out of interest how pristine was “pristine” ? I’m getting tempted with the 14PM (from a 13 Pro) but really don’t want to pay full price 5 months into the cycle.

I can’t see any marks on it anywhere .. my 14Pro has some tiny scratches on the back (you can hardly see them) but this is clear. The interesting thing is that, according to my new phone, I still have 19 days to get Apple Care on it which means it’s 40 days old! .. I have no idea why people wouldn’t just return to Apple in this circumstance, it just makes no sense at all although, obviously, it suits me very well!!

Also .. if it hadn’t been pristine on arrival I’d have sent it straight back 😉
