This would be me, just had a look but can’t see any T&Cs, if it’s available to existing Apple Music subscribers great! New customers only, not so great.

I’d be able to take one of the o2 deals out that don’t come with Apple Music and then get this on priority id assume?

If you have an active subscription it adds 3 months onto the end If you pay annually otherwise it will give you 3 free months.

This will add extra two months on your existing subscription.

3 Months for New.
2 Months for Existing or Returning Customers.

Its a code you just redeem it.

Throwing this out there for consideration too…

Anyone opting for Barclays Partner Finance next week could potentially qualify for several free subscriptions.

You get free subscriptions with a new device by Apple don’t you
I think this only applies the first time you buy a device in each category, ie free Apple Music the first time you buy an iPhone. 3 months fitness+ with your first Apple Watch, 3 months Apple TV+ etc. Sadly you don’t benefit each time you upgrade

Dunno I only have Apple Music but that’s on student discount still

Hi everyone, appreciate we're doing some guesswork here, but it doesn't hurt to be prepared...

I'm with EE, and assuming the UK loses the SIM tray, what's my best move?

I'm currently with a physical SIM, but trying to work out if I should start the process of moving to e-sim now (onto the 14PM for transfer to the new phone), I'm factoring in that should it be confirmed a lot of EE folk will be hammering EE for their first e-sim next week...

Where they provide a scannable code (as I've heard), can I hold on to this and continue to use the physical sim until the e-sim is required? am I obligated to move to e-sim if I request a transfer, or is it within my control to choose not to activate it and stick with my sim card?

Hope they keep the SIM card tray for another year we are so behind with eSIM tech literally cannot be bothered getting PAC code by text from smarty and transferring to EE contract to much hassle just want my phone SIM card in and go.

Lots of options with EE but easiest option if you don’t want to switch ahead/contact EE directly might be to just convert to eSIM using quick start if required when setting up the new phone.

Well, thanks to this thread I've gone and taken an o2 deal out (currently paying £11.54 rolling with Three for 30gb & Unlimited Texts/mins) - It was £9 but it went up in April for whatever reason

Taken the £10 30gb offer - Hopefully the 2 months Apple Music priority offer mentioned above works and ill save a whopping £22 over time :p Plus more with the free roaming.

Could have gone with the £8 20gb as I never use more than 10gb, but I just know the time I decide to take a lower amount of data the time will come where I somehow go over...

Now the dreaded process of porting a number...the last time I tried this the number eventually ported but completely messed up my iMessage etc - I had to get on the phone to Apple who had a rep remotely take control of my phone and ask me to do countless things to get it to work. Credit to him, he eventually did.

Hopefully all done by Friday for a smooth pre order process!

For anyone also having a look around for deals

Quick thing about EE .. their sim only contracts offer free 6months various applesque things. I have 3 contracts (iPad, phone and phone) and so juggle the freebies round. Have never paid for arcade or news or TV and they just keep switching around 😉

Yeah my addon trials renew every time i upgrade our 2 lines.

Update with UR: They claim to have found some "dark spots" in the camera (total BS) and have reduced their offer (from 832) to £582 in an email. Complete and utter nonsense. I've asked them to send the device back.

That’s disappointing to hear.. good you get your phone back! If there are issues you’ll still have warranty to resolve!

Hope they’re not a bunch of charlatans

Hi again guys! Glad to be back!

Ok who are we all selling our 14's with? Who has the longest guaranteed quote??

Welcome back… most of us never left after last year

Peak prices were a week or two ago. Looks like Ur.co.uk have the best price as of today but the post above shows the first one to send it hasn’t had a great experience with them
