Device arrived on Friday at 1pm. Due to potential backlog, I was told that the device would be checked on Monday, and I would hear from them shortly after. They don't work on weekends. This is the message I received 5 hours ago - on a Saturday.

To make matters worse I'm going abroad on Wednesday for a week so I'll have to contend with a time difference and god knows what Airbnb WiFi for the all-important pre-order!

The tension is rising, friends. We must band together and support one another at this very stressful time. 🙏🏼

Update with UR: They claim to have found some "dark spots" in the camera (total BS) and have reduced their offer (from 832) to £582 in an email. Complete and utter nonsense. I've asked them to send the device back.
That’s enough for me to not even bother considering them.

Hopefully get my 15 Pro on release day. I’ll stick my 14 pro on Facebook marketplace for 24h for £675-700 otherwise take it to a MM kiosk on the Saturday

Yeah that's what happened with mine yesterday, Choose my own courier option and no email was sent. I took a screenshot of the order number with the increased price
I requested a sales pack and I’ve had no email either. I emailed support. Although with the person had before I might just go with MM and the 700 I’ve got saved for my 14 PM 128

Just noticed on MM.

If you start a new sales order today picking condition as Excellent and save it.

Under saved order it tracks as Good and not as Excellent.

Im afraid that they'll return the phone is a worse condition. I took photos of the device. Im just hoping that I get *my phone* back.

Yeah, just reading that email made me feel anxiety and anger. It's why I think private sale or the MM kiosks are the way to go - sending off is just a load of stress, especially to these less reputable places who offer more.

Can’t you ask for proof of issue
I'd rather not run the risk of the company potentially creating the issue. Much safer if I just ask for the phone to be sent back expediently - no fuss (hopefully)

Yeah that bs about dark spots around the camera and them having to replace the camera has put me off. Like others have said i'll stick with MM who hasn't let me down yet. I think I will replace the screen as i have a few scratches. Will cost £25 under my AC+

Those that have used the kiosks before, what’s the actual setup like? Do you place your phone inside a box while they view it? I guess what I’m trying to ask is, is there any chance the phone could get damaged by moving parts inside the kiosk?

Email is nonsense and sent outside of working hours. Login never worked. Others may say otherwise, but I'd stay away. I'm trying to be measured - because they may have eyes on this very thread and I need them to return my device in one piece - but I'm appalled. I had a FB marketplace deal lined up for 750, but didn't want to deal with the face-to-face.

The device isn't moved in the kiosk, you need to turn up with it cleared down and no activation lock. The machine tells you to click the info button which puts the IMEI on screen and then just place it in the device. The cameras take over.

There is nothing stated but I’d try and go during the day as they are remotely manned. Allow at least 15 minutes and take something to clean the cameras!!!

Have you got Applecare? At worst, you could get it changed for these "dark spots" in the camera and have a pristine phone to trade in.

No. Device remains stationary.
