By the way, be **very** careful those of you signing up for phone planes in the UK. Most of the them are RPI inflation linked +3.9%, meaning based on current forecasts, your monthly charge may go up by 12-14% early next year. Something to keep in mind when factoring in the costs.
Yes I'm signed up with EE to one of those currently (all their decent sim only plans still enforce 24 months with those terms). I will be cancelling early 2023 when term is up, as I object to it. While I fully accept I signed up to that contract, and will honour it, they didnt have to go for the full %, but chose to anyway (and I note payrises to staff are not good despite this).

How's everyone else doing? I'm glad I wasn't ordering a new iPhone this year with all the issues. I'm not as bothered whether my AirPods Pro get here on launch day vs. a new iPhone!

ordered by 1.04pm. Pro Max 512GB space black. used a combo of apple ID balance and card payment. does anyone know if between now and when it ships, you can ask apple to increase the amount of apple balance used for the purchase, or would i need to cancel and re-purchase?

Slightly confused with the instore pick up dates...

Had everything confirmed with 16th pick up

only money for the case has gone though, and now there's no pick up date in my order, just 'we will notify you/your item will be ready for pick up shortly'

anyone else with in store pick up have this?
I had in-store pickup selected - time was 9:45am local - then it crashed and I only could do delivery.

14 Pro 256gb Purple order after a very painful pre order failure experience.
1304 still have almost there showing then when i got past that (on app) kept making me go round in circles so went to desk top and that did the same. Did a fresh order with trade in and BPF 0% went through straight away with 16 Sept delivery..... well thats what the Apple account is saying but who knows....

Right, tried a few different cards with different banks, and just get a 'Something Went Wrong' from Apple. Probably end up with money taken from all the accounts next! :D
So after 3 accounts, multiple fraud stops, multiple 2 factor, SMS and Apple website errors... SUCCESS!

It kept my delivery date too. Phew!

FINALLY got my order completed on EE, they were nice enough to scrap my early upgrade fee, saving me an eye watering £600 I thought I was going to have to pay.

iPhone 14 Pro Max
Deep Purple
1024GB

Unlimited everything for £73 a month.

Very happy now! Roll on DPD updates
How did you manage to get them to scrap the early upgrade fee? I’m in a similar boat if they could scrap my upgrade fee I would upgrade.

lol like **** you were
lol! Switching to pick-up worked for me.

But the immense frustration seeing the error popup and then having to reselect the pickup time, and seeing that list of times slots get smaller every time!

(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

I've had confirmation from Carphone Warehouse of my order and they're still selling pre-orders with delivery dates of 16/09 - pre-ordered from them in 2019 very late in the day and they delivered on the day so hopefully it's the same this year!

Plot thickens.

the outstanding balance (after same gift cards inadvertently used) taken and both orders changed to payment taken/processing.....

I did mine with O2 which was a mess.

The didn't even go live with the PM until about 1:15

£70 P/M over 3 years for a Black PM 512GB but can upgrade pretty much anytime with O2 refresh so not too bad.
