UK iPhone 4S thread.

Everything is showing as unavailable - MacBooks, iPods, etc. So unless all the Apple stores in the UK are out of absolutely everything, I'd say there's something wrong with the website :)

shes got a blackberry and i just sold mine to get funds for my iphone, i wanted to treat her, we been together 2 half years, got a kid one on the way, thought it would be nice, but seriously these hormones are turning her into a killer against me lol one minute its i love you the next is you selfish effin grunt go puck urself blah blah (guess the words) lol i feel like telling her and making her feel guilty but then she could say that she doesnt want it to spite me, if she dont il keep it lol
 
if they are selling out this quickly it might be worth just buying it online....thats what im thinking anyway.

I'm trying to.
Spoke to both stores today and they both told me there would be plenty of stock to reserve tonight.
Arndale store told me they have loads of contract phones, but they can't give them to sim free people due to the queues...I didn't quite understand how sim free cause more queues than contract.

Try to find something for her & kid but don't make it that u got that because she complained, buy some pressy (for the kids something very cute) and hide them baddly so she can find them.
She might just be happy with the blackberry.

The Belfast store told me they wouldn't be getting anymore for another 1-2 weeks. But I suspect the guy just told me that so I wouldn't keep ringing every 5 minutes...

And maybe she thinks he'll want toy cars and a fireman's hat. Gender stereotyping of this sort is a bit 1950's, isn't it?

(As far as the topic at hand is concerned, I'm still refreshing… this one isn't even for me! :S)
 
Just a question, hope someone can help!

I got my 4S on Friday but I still haven't had the money taken out my card! On the Apple site it still says "Shipped" not "Completed" and I've received an invoice saying that my card has been billed. What's going on?

As soon as I pre ordered on the 7th they took a hold of the funds but I got them back a few days later. My iPhone shipped and delivered but no money has been taken out yet.

Maybe they are just taking their time (best selling iPhone yet!) to go through all the orders? Will the money be taken out soon?

Has anyone else been billed/not billed?

That gives me hope! I hoping to reserve one at the Birmingham Bullring store. I think it would be a bit ridiculous if they have none on the first night of reservations... Let's hope it's just the website being dumb and that it'll be fixed soon.
 
do you think its worth just going to the store 2moz and trying to buy one? it does say first come first serve bases?

my daughter already has about 20 presents coming through next week from play.com, and happy with blackberry? lol did you not hear the news about the drought of network, she hated it before that and only got it so we could stay in constant contact but now it freezes up its got a crap camera, my daughter uses it as a chew toy, its been dropped about a thousand times, thrown at me (arguements) about another thousand times lol, i think a more expensive phone would make her friends jealous, make her happy, if she breaks it i get to moan at her, and we can stay in contact via imessage, even tho i dont quite know how it works, was told it works like bbm?

Nope, you cannot go into a store and just buy a iphone this week, maybe even next week.

Just a way that apple can stop the row's
 
Apple assistant just said.
'Reservations went live about 30 minutes ago and have all sold out, there are none left for pickup.'

Well I think the guy I spoke to just made that up, otherwise why would they open reservations if there were none to reserve?
