I've just managed to get into Apple Order History, and I can see my iPhone 4S 16Gb. Order received and it says Dispatched: Ships by October 14th. So that should mean it should get to me by then. But still no confirmation email.

Yes

The article refers to the US which at the moment only offers subsidised phones.

The situation is different in the UK with Apple only offering unlocked phones via their online store.
 
You can use hotspot on the iphOne and connect upto 5 devices like having a mifi with you.

Unlimited Internet all you can eat data.

Connect your mac/iPad on to the hotspot and enjoy unlimited data for the low price only on three
 
My confirmation email just can through minutes ago (12.09) and I ordered mine around about say 09.50.

Exciting times! :D

Thats cheap! On the site it says its £15.50 then you have to add 500mb bolt on for £6... £21.50 total per month!

Still not had confirmation email (ordered before 9) Also cant check the status of my order online anymore.

Now the store is down.

Just want to know its all gone through okay.fret fret fret..

Just looking around now and the contract prices on Vodafone, Orange and T-Mobile are far better than there were last year. At this rate I'm expecting a really good deal from 3.

If it's showing up on the Apple site, don't worry! Your email will turn up eventually :)

If the money has been withdrawn that's a good sign :p That is Apple making sure enough funds are available. They will be put back into your bank in a few days then when the iPhone is sent out (or when it is delivered) then they will charge you then :)

I agree,

I just came out of a 24 month contract with O2 and I'm never doing it again.

This time I bought the 4S outright and it is much better now I'm not tied down with a contract
