UK iPhone 4S thread.

Just a heads up you will get your delivery according to the delivery drivers route schedule, if your on the way of his route youl more than likely get it quicker if your not even close then you can dream on for 14th october...

I'm hoping they use UPS again this year for London area as I am gettin it delivered to work and we have a good relationship with our UPS guy who usually comes here early as he knows we normally need stuff in the AM

We also get on ok with the guys from TNT, Yodel, UK Mail and City-Link (we do a lot of shipping!) so may mention that I may be getting something delivered next week and would appreciate them getting it here safe and early as poss...

I pray it's not ParcelFarce as they are terrible here (well everywhere)!

I think you'll be fine to get one in stores on the day.

With them being spread out over networks, and no cosmetic change, I dont think there will be as much demand as with re-designed iPhone models.
But hey!, what do I know?!

I plan on going to my local O2 store at around opening time on the 14th.

Vodafone cash back?

I am browsing on the mobile vodafone site and was wondering why the phone prices were so high. However I have just seen that it says you get £59 cash back in November if you preorder a 4S. Is this included in the given price or not? If it is I will probaly pre order here as my brother has an 4 on there network and says they are very good.

Ive just bought a Phone Devil front and rear protector. Plan to try and use the phone naked for as long as possible. If i start getting marks on the bezel, i might throw on a bumper.

Wow ordered 8:46 got confirmation on 8:53 was wondering why no confirmation, did a second check it was on another email, was waiting all time what a noob me. I must be one of the very first batch got through btw why no one has mention 3 all you can eat data? For 25 pounds honestly you find nothing like this, it is favorable if you are big user like me. I have 2 contract one was o2 another one was 3 o2 is due soon so bye o2. During 10 months I have been with 3 I have spend 150gb data and never over charge, data speed is decent too and I think they do hspda+ network too because I het the h+ sign in Birmingham when using my sg2, give it a try I highly recommend them

Just spoke to someone at Apple on the phone to find out about my order. Very helpful but she definitely took a large dose of LSD with her breakfast today. Far too happy.

Basically she confirmed my order has gone through alright and payment has been approved. The online order checker is down for maintenance and should be up within an hour.

Mind at rest.

Where did you personally purchase these from?

I see them on Amazon and Play etc. but do they come in a pack with one front and one back or is it only available 2 of each bought separately?

Hahah! harsh but true, i thought it was 7am, i overslept ( first time in about 18 years! ) then 8am, i was in my car on way to work... then at 8:45am, done dusted in 4 minutes.

I know but if you get a good signal and enough data what is the problem with a 2 year contract?

I'm just astonished I could get a 64Gb iPhone 4S for £280

O2 upgrades only in stores....hmmmm this could prove difficult. I'm hoping they are holding fire on their tarrifs just to see what everyone else is offering.

Does anyone know for three contract after how many months you can downgrade (lower your tariff)?

I think it was 9 months but not sure.

It may be cheaper to go on the £40/month contract and pay £49 upfront then downgrade when you can (if after 9 months).

Cheaper then £35/month and paying £99 upfront
