Do a search for the company Junecloud LLC or the app itself "Delivery Status touch, a package tracker" in the iOS App store.

It costs £2.99 though and is not free. I've not used it so I don't know if it's any good.

Both the Mac widget from their site & the App are free. You need to enter your Apple details on the widget & the app on your iphone then you can find out what the score is within seconds-just as well 'cos I musta checked about 10 times already!

20 mins queue + and still now answer from expensive O2

Wooow not good at all from O2 Is it?

Now who thinks that good customer service?

I've been with O2 since the original iPhone and I've called them a number of times regards my iPhone and iPad and have always got through in reasonable time and always got exemplary service. Just because one person here posts about a long waiting time doesn't automatically mean their customer service is poor. To be honest I think most people here are getting tired of your bashing of O2 and false praise of Three. I doubt anyone here is going to think you as being credible when it comes to three as every post you make is either promoting Three like you work for them or get commission or have an issue with O2 which make you bash them at every opportunity. You're not making your self look good and if anything you come across as someone who is immature.

Why is all of the hate being directed to O2? I think that they're a great mobile carrier, their tariffs are competitive and have very reliable customer service. I've never had any problems with them whatsoever.

They have increased their tariffs for the last few years less minutes more longer times waiting on the phone to speak to a customer service advisor.

And more not bad stuff about expensive o2

That's strange as on the app store it's showing as £2.99 and not free. Do you have a link to the free version of the app.

Who would you recommend? ;)

NOT O2-bumped

Not- tmobile-they are as bad

Vodaphone-are known to be good-but can be expensive-if you have plenty of money and money is not of worry then I would go for vodaphone

Oragne-no reception is poor since they have joined t mobile

Giffgaff-maybe as they are really cheap

Three-quite decent-which I'm on-if their is another cheaper option I would maybe go. Giffgaff is but many of my friends are on three which they are on contract who have 5000 mins three to three calls

Apologies Mr C, I bought it ages ago & updated it yesterday-my error.
However, for me, it's a great app & has saved me loads of time. Didn't work until last night due to the Apple's order page being down.

With the O2 discussion, I have no problems with their service or network coverage, the point I was making was that 'First dibs for existing customers' translated into you can order the phone on Friday morning & get it 7-10 days later!

The coverage depends, I think, on where you live & what phone you use. I was with T mobile for years until I bought an Xperia. I then found I had to perch the phone on the high back-garden wall & use a blue tooth headset to make & receive business calls! No problems whatsoever with O2 & my iPhone 4 even using the 'death-grip' & a half-nelson! Never lost a call!

I guess if you're on a sim-free from Apple maybe you can try a mini-sim from the networks to check out your reception where you live & work?

I know a friend of a friend who got such rubbish service & reception from 3 in outer London, that he used a special 'upgrade' technique of smashing his 3 phone in the fireplace & then jumping on it! He felt a lot better then.

Three are cheap yes, but why is that. If they offered at least good customer service and good 3G signal then wouldn't we all be with 3?!?!

The reality is, yes on paper they stand out as having a great deal, but from my personal experience with them had poor signal, especially now they are on their own and not piggy backing of another provider.

Again this is my own experience but I was mis-advised by them numerous times when I called their cs and resulted with me getting £50-£60 additional charges for a few months.

I would sum it up as saying, if you want 1,000,000 minutes for 50p a month but struggle to get signal to use 10 of them and if you want to call their 'customer service' to talk to a script with no common sense then head straight down to your local 3 store!!!

Whats the chance of picking up a 4s from the Apple store on the Saturday after launch?
Good question, I'm planning the same thing. It all depends on how much stock your local store gets for the weekend. I suspect that they have have some phones but not all models will be available.

I guess I'm lucky as I've never had any problems getting through. I was connected to an advisor almost instantly.

I think that £36 a month for 500MB, unlimited texts and 600 minutes is pretty reasonable (not to mention the subsidy - you pay 1/5 of the price!).

----------

Just got a text from The Carphone Warehouse saying that they now have o2 tariff pre-orders available in store and over the phone.

Going into my local store to pre-order tomorrow - will I need any sort of ID or cash for a deposit?

Zero I'd say
I spent a few nights reading back on the UK iPhone 4 thread a while ago and it looked like very few stores had stock the day after launch, from memory all these stores weren't in 'big' cities or anything either so yeah, it's very unlikely.

My local store sold out at about 5pm launch day on the iPhone 4. I heard they had about 700 handsets, so I wouldn't expect to get one saturday, but they may have the odd one left. :D

Ordered my 4S within minutes of the Apple Online Store going back up on Friday morning, what are the chances I'll actually receive it on release day?

The thing is this year there are 6 different iPhones being released rather than the 2 we had last year, surely that means a lot more stock?

I finally managed to order through Three, and Quidco tracked as well - however, it tracked a 0 Pound order and is now expecting 149 Pounds cashback. Fingers crossed I get any money at all, and fingers crossed again that I get more money than they had promised ;)

Good point, but I would say it wouldn't mean more handsets. If what I heard is true about last year, then I reckon they had about 450 16GB and 250 32GB, but now for example they may have say 150 of each variant!

Also bare in mind that a few may have stayed away, waiting for the white, but on the flip side some may decide to pass on the 4S as many see it as not a huge upgrade.

So I've preordered and now I'm deciding what to do with my iPhone 4 16gb black.

There is eBay but it can be hassle and I would get in the region of £300 but there are fees to take off that.

Then there is recycling websites. I recycled my iPhone 3G with O2 recycle last year and didn't have any problems with them. This year the are offering £266 for my phone.

Envirofone are offering £270 and cashinmyfone is offering £280 which is a bit more appealing. However I worry about them either 'losing' the phone or taking off money for damage particularly when it's in immaculate condition.

Has anyone had any experiences they which to share? Most of the reviews I've found for the latter have been pretty bad and why would Envirofone have two different companies running?!

Just got the 4s 32gb through three with £109 cashback on quidco. Means I have to change my number, but for £109 its worth it.

That's what I was worried about. I went the eBay route and sold for £333. After fees, postage worked out at £276, so there is still not much in it! :D

I have no idea why the two companies unless they're just trying to get more of the market but I have used Envirofone and they were fine .. I used them from recommendations on here :)

Hopefully someone else will be able to chime in so it's not just me ranting on and on (which hubby says I do a lot, can't imagine where he gets that idea from! lol)
