That's what I was worried about. I went the eBay route and sold for £333. After fees, postage worked out at £276, so there is still not much in it! :D

I was going to sell my iPhone 4 16GB on eBay but I though, after the eBays fees I was getting maybe less than these companies who buy your phone. I sold it to Dough-Dough for £277.04 (which was the best price at the time (1 week ago)).

Use this site to get the best price http://www.sellmymobile.com

I can confirm that Dough-Dough were great, they inspect the phone they day they receive it and then they send the payment via BACS transfer (few days) or cheque.

I just assumed I would have to. Do you know how I would go about keeping it? I'd appreciate it.

Just call your current provider and ask for a PAC code then call your new network, advise them that you want to keep your number and they will ask for PAC code and mobile number you wish to keep, then thats it, done! :D

Phone up your current provider, and tell them your leaving and you want your PAC code.

This code helps your new provider transfer your old number to your new contract.

It is valid for 30 days after you receive it.

When your new phone arrives and it's activated, you need to fill out the online form on the 3 website.

I finally managed to order through Three, and Quidco tracked as well - however, it tracked a 0 Pound order and is now expecting 149 Pounds cashback. Fingers crossed I get any money at all, and fingers crossed again that I get more money than they had promised ;)

have you received a confirmation from Three yet? my quidco has tracked but heard nothing from them!!

Brilliant! Thanks mate, I'll give it a go when my new phone arrives. Thanks for the info.

Seems like some of the US orders are getting their orders updated to shipping?

Anyone else left the realms of processing yet?

I'm pretty sure the US orders are shipped (and tracked) from China, whereas UK orders will probably ship from a UK distribution centre. I seem to recall this is what happened with the first iPad and the iPhone 4.

So we probably won't see any change in shipping status until Wednesday or Thursday.

Can anyone recommend a reliable cheap insurance company for my new iPhone 4S?

I don't want to ugly it up by using a case but would rather pay for some insurance to cover accidental damage, loss, theft etc.

Anyone? :)

Yes, I got an email from customerservices@three.co.uk with a reference number and the order details - ended up straight in my spam though.

With the problems their website has been having, wouldn't surprise me if just your email got stuck, but they could equally have messed up your order. Maybe you can call them and check your order went through if they can look up by name/address?

What order value did Quidco track for you and what is your expected payout? Mine was 0/149 which is all wrong anyway...

I was told that UK stock was shipping from a holding point in the UK - so, i assume all will set off from 00:00 Fri and be with us by 18:00, glad we're a small country.

All the best,

Oddly, my quidco has tracked at a different rate to yours:

Purchase Value 0.00. Cashback tracking: 143.33 Tracked 08 Oct 11

Then again I didn't take it out on 'the one plan' I was happy enough with the 60 or so quid for the text 500 to pay a little less for the phone for the same monthly bill - would never use all they're offering anyway!!

It's painful watching peoples' orders preparing for shipment, and see mine still processing with no explanation from anyone on why my order was cancelled.

My order is showing as Fast Ship (EMEA) which means that it will be shipping from the factory (presumably China or Brazil) so hopefully will start to see some movement tomorrow or Tuesday if it follows usual route to Holland then Uk then fingers crossed to me on Friday

Order just placed with Vodafone :D Couldn't select my local store for collection so have had to pick the nearest one. Will phone up tomorrow and get them to change it to the correct store.

Gone for a 32Gb white :)

I don't think any of the UK ones from Apple have changed from 'processing' have they?

My iPad was shipped 'Fast Ship (EMEA)' from a UK distribution centre, so I don't think it means it ships from the factory.

Both my iPad and iPad 2 as well as my iPhone 4 all shipped from China. I'm sure it was the same for everyone in the UK and the US. I'm pretty sure it will be the same case with the 4S.

Well after spending a few hours looking around dough dough has the best price and the reviews I found on Facebook seem reasonable with good customer interaction so I've requested a bag and I'll go from there! Will send it special delivery though I think!

Was this at the launch of afterwards?

Other than launches, I agree that most Apple kit ships directly from the factory. However, my experience of the iPad launch (and following the iPhone 4 launch in this thread), Apple shipped the UK orders for these two launches out from a UK distribution centre. The fact none the UK orders show as being 'Prepared for shipment' yet makes me think the same will happen this time. US launch orders seem to ship direct from China, and are being prepared now.
