Can't see any justification for that. Still, if the 64GB is the value proposition, I guess I'll just have to get that one![]()
Memory density, basically. The design of the previous iPhones only had space for a single NAND storage chip. The more capacity that is needed in one chip, the more expensive the chips get - hence why high capacity SSD drives are still very expensive, it's the same stuff.
£100 for the 32-64 jump is probably reasonable considering, but the jump from 16-32 at the same price is probably a bit cheeky.
