Looks like Tesco have dropped the ball a bit here, I have a sim only monthly plan with them, i've heard rumours (and seen a few threads on mac r.) that nano sims would be available for order by phone on Monday.
I've just called them, they informed me that no stores will be stocking the nano sim, they will be available by calling tesco directly or ordering from the website... but get this... you can only order them FROM FRIDAY! -- then it takes 3 working days to get delivered by snailmail.

I don't think that should be a problem although there is that thing where on some newly made devices the screens haven't had time to cure yet. The speculation at this point seems to be around the fact that US pre-orders have UPS tracking information already where the UK ones have not.
If the iPad 3 was anything to go by the phones are already in the UK and will be dispatched on Wednesday from somewhere like Syncreon.
But they dont try and redeliver next working day (AKA FRIDAY!) when they have failed. I can pick it up from the lovely depot half a mile from my house

Do people still need unlimited texts now-a-days? Almost every carrier offers this but with apps link iMessage and WhatsAp you get free texts anyway?
You could just make your micro sim into a nano?
No, i have emailed Expert Shield as their 4S ones were superb but not had anything back yet, i'm also looking for a Belkin TPU case seen as though the 4S one is best case i've used.
21 min on the phone to O2 for 4 pac codes, pretty painless. Wasn't too worried about me going either!

Read the comments at the bottom of page, someone says its 0.09mm difference and 1 or 2 swipes on sandpaper will do the trick, although i'm just gona buy one.

OK. Orange having ordered the wrong phone for me and having told me that they would have to wait to receive back the phone sent by mistake, they called this morning to tell me that they have reordered the 5 by cancelling my previous order/account (not sure why they didn't do that in the first place). So it will be interesting to see when my 5 finally arrives.
They seem to be completely overwhelmed! Their systems just don't seem to be able to cope.
Next time i upgrade will switch!!

I pre-ordered a black 32gb iP5 through T-Mobile at around 8:10am on the 14th. I received an order confirmation e-mail at 8:13am then the “Your order's winging its way to you right this minute” message at about 1:45pm. Then on Saturday at around 11:30am, I received a text message from T-Mobile stating “Hi, thanks for ordering your shiny new phone, we’ll be in touch when it’s on the way.”
Has anyone received any further updates from T-Mobile? I am assuming that at 8:10am, I was one of the first to place an order, but am getting quite anxious due to the lack of communication. I cannot log-on to My T-Mobile, or check the order status anywhere. Has anyone tried calling T-Mobile got any new information?

Tesco are being unbearable. They said today to me on live chat / twitter. I rung and not only did customer services make me feel like a complete idiot they also said the same to you - ring back Friday... But not to order - to find out further information.
What I would say however, is that it was clear that the call agent was reading off a script. Ring back Friday... Blah blah blah.
Not happy at all.

Hmm! I'm on GiffGaff(e) so come delivery day I'll be breaking out the craftknives, scissors & sandpaper!
And then approximately 30 minutes later when I've completely destroyed it and nothing works I'll probably be hurriedly going on Three's website begging for a PAYG sim
