I just wandered into my local Three store and asked for a nano sim adaptor. They gave me one without any problems.

Now I just have to hope that when my contract sim arrives it actually works. :/

is it just a nano to micro sim adapter or do they give it to fit a full sized sim as well?

i've sold my iphone now and need ti dig out an old phone from the back of a cupboard to keep me tied over till Friday

3 o2 stores near me, Evesham, Cheltenham and Gloucester. Evesham and Cheltenham are saying they wont have them till friday and Gloucester are not answering the phone.

I am AMAZED that O2 are not sending these out through post to people that ask for them.
I am buying my phone from apple directly and have pulled out of the 18 month contract as I want to be in control of how much and when I want to pay my bill.
O2 don't want this, they want me tied to them for 24 months so they obviously don't want my custom anymore.
I've been with them for 18 years now and that's obviously not enough.

You shouldnt have been charged. Three on twitter have said you shouldnt be charged.

How does it work then? Guessing all your contacts are swapped over from the micro sim? Do you need to speak to somebody to activate it? Guessing it's like when you swapped from normal sim to micro?

I use iCloud. I haven't stored contacts on a SIM since Nokia N95 came out.

People in the shop weren't helpful. I asked about the adapter. She said "We don't have them in stock." I opened the packet and showed here they were included she just rolled her eyes at me. Felt like telling O2 to shove it!

Yup. Told the staff there I'd signed up for a contract on Friday (Which is true but they didn't check) and the girl went and got me one. (Both regular and Micro)

I ordered some earpods shortly after the keynote and they will be here tomorrow via "SYNCREON PARCEL DELIVERY".

Is it fair to think thats who will be shipping the iphone too?

Any O2 Stores in the East Midlands have nano sims? I've tried phoning Thurmaston and Leicester Highcross. Both said a few days.

One thing that occurred to me after my order, they didnt take an email address or give me any kind of order reference.

Did they with you?

We already have 2 phones on 3 (kids phones) so they already had an email address for us and said we would recieve a confirmation email on Thursday to let us know delivery time. They've always been very good with delivery in the past so I'm hoping it won't be an issue.
