Anybody got a dead cert on who the delivery carrier is & anyone change to shipped??

Delivery carrier for T-Mobile is definitely UK Mail. Was confirmed to me on the phone earlier. The guy was actually pretty knowledgeable. I was asking him about travel Internet bundles as I'm off to Germany on Sunday and he informed me that i'll be asked what bundle i want when i try to connect to the internet over there but also gave me a bit of cracking info that T-Mobile's parent company Deutsch Telekom's 4G network was already up and running over there and I would have the option to connect to it. Will be good to give it an early run out to see what speeds it hits. Also said that the 5 is good to go on their HD voice over 3G here.

Do they not ship from Ireland or is it def china? I'm in northern Ireland so I would hope I get mine on Friday like it says in my confirmation email that I got at 8.05am after ordering.

I walked into O2 in the Trafford centre today and asked about nano sims. I was promptly handed one in a packet and told to call up Friday to get it swapped. No sim adaptor though

Most likely the phones are in the UK/Ireland already but we won't know until Wednesday.

I meant from Apple

My nano sim order just placed thru o2 customer care :D. Like others on here he wasn't aware of it being on the system so they have to look for it. He said please don't go and tell your friends, as it will just cause pandemonium, that it "may not come before the 21st" and it was a "good will gesture".

Bless him, really nice lad - o2 have got them working overtime till 11pm to clear the call volumes  they are struggling to transfer between departments too due to the volumes.. Only 5 of the 80 calls today haven't been about the iPhone. Now as much as I <3 :apple:that would do my nut in!

What's the problem with that?

I can post a letter at 6PM and it'll arrive the next day.

You think a huge company can't do that too?

It's not that we think it won't arrive we are asking because we need tracking numbers to we know when it is arriving for somebody to sign for the package.

Apple says after it's shipped they will put a tracking number on the order status page, so if they don't ship it until Thursday night nobody will know the tracking info.

Went into my local Three store. Gave me a nano sim plus adapters for micro and standard sim, all free. My nano sim is now activated and working in my Samsung S3 ready for when my 5 arrives on Friday.

Typical - poor planning by management and then they just get the lower orders to work like dogs to sort out the cr@p storm.

Just tried calling o2 customer care line and finally got through to Jamie who was not having any of it, regarding ordering nano sims from their system, and when pushed I got cut off!

Is it possible to call the delivery company once we know the order number etc and get them to hold the package?

I don't know what the general consensus is here in UK but I seen in the US threads that some people are going to do that with FedEx, ups etc ..

I have work on Friday so id love to be able to take 20 mins out from the office and collect it from the depot...

If not I'll prob head home on lunch, just not sure if someone will be in on Friday to sign for it.

It depends but for security reasons in most cases they want to make a first attempt to deliver before they allow you to collect. You could always call you local delivery depot and ask once you have the tracking number.

Still the 21/9 delivery date for me. Got my Three nano sim ready to activate too! I'm actually organised for once.

I was advised to activate it Thursday, as it takes 24 hours apparently. This week is going to be a slow one! :D

Just phoned me local three store and enquire about ordering it he said If i come in before Wed then they can arrange it for collection on friday. All I need to do is go in and set up the contract tomorrow and then they will arrange a time on friday for me to collect it and that's it more than happy with the service from 3.
