Tmobile informed me that my iPhone 5 will be coming this friday between 9am - 5pm.

Also for those still in contract with tmobile, you can break out the contract, but you have to pay the remaining thats left. They also have a 'soft upgrade' for those on the £36 tarriff already, where they add the remaining months onto the new contact + a increase in phone cost.

For those unaware, Qudico are giving £50 back for O2 12month sim oly contracts :) £60 with Vodafone I believe

Thanks for the info, I ordered at 8am but it didn't go through for some reason, so reordered about 1:47pm (as that's when I got home) I ordered 64GB iPhone 5 however I haven't got any texts thoug,I got the confirmation emails though but that said within 30 days. The money hasn't left my bank but my online bank shows my current balance, but my availble balance is £269 less so I'm guessing it's processing. Hopefully as I'm getting 64GB I will still get it on release day! I am still pissed that the order didn't go through the first time though!

I'm guessing you ordered online? Reason I say that is I also asked about the confirmation emails as I'd seen that on here and was told that was for online orders only. Telephone orders get a text. This was the text sent to me about 11am sat morning "Hi, thanks for ordering your shiny new phone. We'll be in touch to let you know when it's on the way." kinda all tied in with what the guy said tonight about them texting on Thursday night with tracking no. That's how mine showed with my bank on sat, however when I checked today it had changed, the money had gone and it appears on my mini statement on the RBS app. Would imagine you'll still be fine as its the 64gb.

Everything Everywhere (T-Mobile and Orange) combined probably do as they are now the largest UK Network. However I doubt T-Mobile on their own do.

That makes sense but as I understand Orange & TMobile are still run separately to a great extent and so will have separate allocations of phone stock.

Thanks for this! With the Caesars Bingo one, are you only allowed to wager your £10 on a game of Bingo or can it be something like roulette? Thanks for this! With the Caesars Bingo one, are you only allowed to wager your £10 on a game of Bingo or can it be something like roulette?

Thanks =), I guess now my iphone will cost me less

I guess that if you only need 1GB data then that calculation works. However you could save an extra £100 to £200 going 3 or GiffGaff.

Yeah. I don't know that I trust either 3 or GiffGaff. I used to be on 3 and the customer service was terrible. And I had a bad experience trying to get a GiffGaff sim working on my iPad. I know o2 - I feel comfortable with them and 1 GB usually covers me without any trouble.

I ordered online and haven't received any emails. The only contact they've given me is that same text you got, at about the same time sat morning too. It said on the website when I ordered that I'd get a text every 3 days to let me know whats happening! Though maybe its a generic statement and if I had ordered a different phone I would have.

Did anyone ever work out why O2 were acting as an agent for CPW this year? Did O2 fall out with Apple or something?

Oh, and O2 say are sending mine with UK Mail or DHL, which I'm crossing my fingers for because they both deliver really early to me!

Im sure there is some reasoning behind it. But my educated guess it that O2 aren't geared up to ship hundreds of phone at a time like this.

Carphone warehouse uses Yodel and sometime DPD (although DPD is what i was told by a O2 rep today) so im unsure where UK mail and DHL have come from  - Check CPW site for their courier information ;)

That's not to say they'll use them exclusively though so you may well me right too.

Dull question but I started porting over to my nano sim around 3pm today and my old sim is still operational; should it have stopped working by now?

Not sure I remember it taking this long previously.

Just out of interest what time did you pre order on the Friday and what model?

It depends but for security reasons in most cases they want to make a first attempt to deliver before they allow you to collect. You could always call you local delivery depot and ask once you have the tracking number.

Thanks I'll give that a go ...

I did order online, does was this information told to you when you ordered or was it a separate phone call?

Hopefully the money will exit my account tomorrow then, if the money is gone I will feel more comfortable in it arriving at launch!

Maybe I should try and phone them up in the morning to double check it will arrive. It would be nice to know if it's coming or not to know if I should take Friday off work.

Anyone else got a call from Three? Confirming my delvery address got the call around 7pm tonight,
Got it as a new contract per-ordered online because only could upgrade my 1 month sim only in store and due to my working hours wouldn't be able to go there till the weekend

Any chances of getting it this friday? maybe queue apple shop, would they have any in stock?

If your lucky. I suggest go tomorrow and see if anyone has started queuing up. People in London have started. If there's no one there yet, I suggest you go Thursday night, or very early Friday morning. But this is not a guarenteed, so best of luck.

Ordered at around 8.45ish i believe. It was a 16gb black. I did phone up and they said they couldnt check my order for 7 days! But if it was all ok i should get it friday as i ordered early. But theyre telling everyone else 30 days so i dont know what to believe.
