Anyone used Insure and Go before?

Looking at getting insurance for the new phone and they seem the cheapest at £39.50 a year

Use them every year for travel insurance. Have had to make a claim and they were very good.

Already ordered and winging its way to me!:)

ORANGE have just tweeted this! :

Great news - existing Orange customers can now order their iPhone 5 nano SIMs from customer services on 150

Just ordered an Nano sim from Orange. Rang 150 then Options 1,2,4.

Spoke to a nice chap who transfered me to the "technical" department. The new chap posted one straight away. Should be with me in 2-4 days.

:)

o2

Just an FYI

Went into O2 store in Westfield, White City (London) at lunch at was the only customer there at that time, got a new nano Sim in about a minute.

Guy serving told me they got some in yesterday. If your our west London way, it would be an option.

I did try talking to the O2 on-line CS and they were useless, saying I had to wait till Friday blah blah blah

I just ordered mine offline from the Carphone Warehouse. I'll get a sim-only 12 month contract I think.

I ordered it for delivery to my nearest store so I can pick it up on launch day. I am a little worried though that the person I spoke to on the phone who advised me to order via the website seemed absolutely certain I would get it on Friday. I mean, this is a good thing but I expected her to have to check stock levels or something.

Maybe I should stop worrying but did anyone else go the CPW route and did they have any different advice?

For those on O2 transferring a number from standard/micro SIM to a Nano SIM - it took me around 10 hours to transfer over my number yesterday (tried both online and the text option) so I would do this ASAP as I would imagine the systems being completely overloaded on launch day.

Well done mate, you got a fantastic deal ... next time can you talk to them for me!!

Cheers, I called up until I got what I wanted. I ended up playing the CS agents off against each other. The 5th person I spoke to gave in. haha

You'll be waiting a while:

In stock on November 30, 2012.

These are just the first. I'm sure there will be more. Also all over ebay.

Has anybodys iPhone shipped on apples website?

mine still showing preparing for shipment. Anyone know if UK deliveries come from China or UK warehouse?

Got my sim from O2 Huntingdon at lunch. Still trying to work out if O2 have the best deals, anyone used GiffGaff before?

I'm a current Giffgaff user. It's decent for the price, but don't expect to be able to use data in built up areas. If there are a lot of people in the area on O2, they get priority, and you get choked- this is precisely why I'm moving away from them.

Also they are removing the unlimited data plan from the £10 goody bag. Looks like they're replacing it with 750mb instead or asking £12.50 or something, looks like they're having a poll currently, letting the community decide.

Tethering is also a no-go on a normal tariff (though they're talking about this changing by the end of the year for the 750mb plan that they're talking about). I'm honestly very pleased with them, but do get sick of having full 3G reception but being completely unable to do the simplest of things such as check in on foursquare while in the city centre.

Oh! and 0800 numbers are free!

The unlimited date is great though, I often use around 2-3 GB a month, usually due to keeping most of my music on the cloud, and never have a problem with that unless in a built up area.

Insure and Go is good but don't get anything unless it's Platinum or Black.

I want to get insurance for my iPhone this time around, but I was looking through the policy wording and it says theft in a public place or on public transport isn't covered unless force (or the threat of it) is involved. So if I'm pickpocketed, it's not covered? That sounds pretty lame to me. I'm pretty sure I'm going to with the O2 insurance. Covers pretty much anything, and by all accounts is a lot less hassle. It's expensive, sure, but you get what you pay for, right? Right?…

Great thanks for the info. As I need my phone for business I will stick with O2 and probably move to their sim only business deal.

A friend picked up an O2 nano sim from an O2 store on Oxford Street (in London) this lunch time.

They had a guy standing there handing them out to people, but he said they only had a few left!

Id love it if someone could give apple support a call and find out when our phones are likely to start shipping.

I would, but I'm at work. It would be awesome if someone could do that :D

After many phone calls and visits to my local O2 shop, i have given up with trying to get hold of a nano sim!! So i've just moved to three and got my nano sim now :) that was easier.
