Dont suppose anyone knows a way to track uk deliveries at the moment? I know US deliveries can be tracked by entering your mobile number at the UPS tracker site
Nice work! Ordered mine on Sunday I believe so should be here tomorrow!
In his email from Orange, which provides his order number and the link to the website to track it.
How do you do the sim swap via text this online doesn't seem to be working, although i used loads of times before and normally done within the hour.
i ordered on friday and spoke to orange about an hour ago, ive been told they have already got stock and the phones for the first wave will be dispatched wed/thurs for delivery friday, it seems to me its very dependant on who you talk to, but the cs guy i talked to was very helpful and seemed to know what he was talking about. He was also in a call centre in the uk and not from india which meant it was very easy to talk to him. he said to give them a call tomorrow or thurs to request the tracking number, they are using uk mail for deliveries.
Ordered my nano sim from Vodafone on Friday (for free) through the live chat online and it arrived today, the whole process has been absolutely painless.
Looking forward to me black 32GB arriving on Friday!

Ahh, brilliant! What time did you order, can I ask? I ordered mid-day. I've heard there's a text going round warning of 30 days delivery, I haven't received it thank god.
Which tariff did you go for? I went for the Works, I was with O2 for the last 4 years but the 3gb data was the deal-maker for me.
Ok
I have posted this before but others might have missed it. After trying to order online at eight on Friday morning, the site refused to recognise the number they sent so I rang via 150. After being on hold for almost an hour was put through to Gemma who i thought was very helpful. Sorting out the plan I wanted, commenting on the price of the phone. Thought all was well.
That evening got a text to say my order would be delivered Monday. I started to be suspicious. Tweeted the Orange helpers who said the text was a mistake. Still worried so rang 150 again. It turned out she had clicked on iPhone 4 by mistake.
The guy I spoke to said he would ring me back Monday morning and he would try and recall iPhone 4 as they would not be able to process my order till they had that one back.
He did ring back on Monday, saying he was recalling 4 from the couriers, but would go ahead with the order for my 5, and put £30 on my account.
Not heard anything since, although, as with others, the new plan has started.
Next time will be leaving Orange.![]()
upgrade. Thanks!Sounds like a right mess on!
Were you upgrading or a new connection?
If your line has started I guess upgrade? (Unless you check another way?)
Hope u get sorted anyway!
Ive phoned them, my order status is the same, showing as 'picked', the guy on the phone sounded surprised, put me on hold for a couple of minutes and basically said there is no chance that I would receive it on Friday, and that I would be lucky to receive it next week, it could even run into the week after that. (I ordered at 8am on the dot in Friday).
Exeter is mine too. I wouldn't get there later than 5am!! The queues for the 5 will be totally mental. 6am is too late. I know of at least 30 people queuing after the pub closes on Thursday night.
I got mine through their website and it came in the mail today, but when I went into the Three store at London Liverpool Street today for a free adaptor, they had a whole box full of nano-SIMs.Has anyone got a nanoSIM from a 3 store yet? I went in yesterday but they said they wouldn't have them until Thursday.
I'll try again tomorrow, start the ball rolling with getting my number transferred to them too.

I would activate it it beforehand to make sure that everything is working. Some people have said that their nano SIM didn't work and they had to get another sent out. Also if you have a problem of any kind it would be easier to get it fixed when their CS is a bit quieter. My question is this: do I insert the nano-SIM via the adaptor into my iPhone 3GS to activate it and port over my number from O2 now and beat the rush on Friday, or do I leave it so that the new iPhone 5 is the first thing the nano-SIM goes into? Will activating it in my iPhone 3GS make the 5 miss out on any carrier settings or anything? Thanks!

Text from nano sim or existing sim?
