Dont suppose anyone knows a way to track uk deliveries at the moment? I know US deliveries can be tracked by entering your mobile number at the UPS tracker site

In his email from Orange, which provides his order number and the link to the website to track it.

I never received a confirmation email but have been told by customer services that the order is deffinately placed, does anybody know how I can get hold of this tracking number?

How do you do the sim swap via text this online doesn't seem to be working, although i used loads of times before and normally done within the hour.

first time i've used to today at about 4pm and my account got transferred approx 2-3 hours later.

Carphone warehouse orders delivered by Yodel?
Ouch!

i ordered on friday and spoke to orange about an hour ago, ive been told they have already got stock and the phones for the first wave will be dispatched wed/thurs for delivery friday, it seems to me its very dependant on who you talk to, but the cs guy i talked to was very helpful and seemed to know what he was talking about. He was also in a call centre in the uk and not from india which meant it was very easy to talk to him. he said to give them a call tomorrow or thurs to request the tracking number, they are using uk mail for deliveries.

Ahh, brilliant! What time did you order, can I ask? I ordered mid-day. I've heard there's a text going round warning of 30 days delivery, I haven't received it thank god.

Which tariff did you go for? I went for the Works, I was with O2 for the last 4 years but the 3gb data was the deal-maker for me.

Ordered my nano sim from Vodafone on Friday (for free) through the live chat online and it arrived today, the whole process has been absolutely painless.

Looking forward to me black 32GB arriving on Friday!

I just ordered mine on the online chat also!
The guy said 3-5 working days - is that the time they quoted for you to?!

I also ordered black 32gb. Excited :D

my o2 nano sim got sent out today, and they said could take up to 3 days to deliver... has anyone gotten their o2 nano in the post in less then 3 days like next day?

cheers

Orange mess up saga.

Ok
I have posted this before but others might have missed it. After trying to order online at eight on Friday morning, the site refused to recognise the number they sent so I rang via 150. After being on hold for almost an hour was put through to Gemma who i thought was very helpful. Sorting out the plan I wanted, commenting on the price of the phone. Thought all was well.
Saturday evening got a text to say my order would be delivered Monday. I started to be suspicious. Tweeted the Orange helpers who said the text was a mistake. Still worried so rang 150 again. It turned out she had clicked on iPhone 4 by mistake.:eek:
The guy I spoke to said he would ring me back Monday morning and he would try and recall iPhone 4 as they would not be able to process my order till they had that one back.:mad::mad:
He did ring back on Monday, saying he was recalling 4 from the couriers, but would go ahead with the order for my 5, and put £30 on my account.
Not heard anything since, although, as with others, the new plan has started.
Next time will be leaving Orange.:mad::mad:

I got through on the phone at about 0850, just after there tech problems :) i havent had that text but was told when i ordered that it could take up to 30 days, imo i think they just say that to cover there asses. ive always been on the Orange 46ppm and therefore my 32gb only cost me 29.99 :)

Ive phoned them, my order status is the same, showing as 'picked', the guy on the phone sounded surprised, put me on hold for a couple of minutes and basically said there is no chance that I would receive it on Friday, and that I would be lucky to receive it next week, it could even run into the week after that. (I ordered at 8am on the dot in Friday).

Which model are you getting out of curiosity?

Rang Vodafone on Sunday, confirmed order for nano sim, got a text to confirm, and today 08:00 received a text to say it had been despatched, so Vodafone seem to have sorted themselves out.

Also got the serial number of my iPhone 5 so assume that one has been allocated, just waiting to hear that its enrolee, but since its supposed to be in ireland, I guess the status will change tomorrow

Hey guys, I'm in the process of changing from O2 to T-Mobile, but just incase I've ordered a nano sim from O2 and that should be here before Friday.

I've got my new T-Mobile Sim plan setup with a MicroSim, but need a nano sim.... is it right that T-Mobile isn't giving them out until October??

O2 just did it over the phone, I've called T-Mobile several times and each of them have no clue and give me slightly different answers!

Answers probably here somewhere but with every refresh comes more and more posts! ;)

Okay, I'm nearly set. I have an unlocked iPhone 5 pre-ordered with Apple for delivery on the 21st (still says 'Preparing for Shipment', mind), a Three nano-SIM (the £12.90 one month rolling contract one) and both mini-SIM and micro-SIM adaptors (picked up today for free from the Three store at London Liverpool Street).

My question is this: do I insert the nano-SIM via the adaptor into my iPhone 3GS to activate it and port over my number from O2 now and beat the rush on Friday, or do I leave it so that the new iPhone 5 is the first thing the nano-SIM goes into? Will activating it in my iPhone 3GS make the 5 miss out on any carrier settings or anything? Thanks!

Exeter is mine too. I wouldn't get there later than 5am!! The queues for the 5 will be totally mental. 6am is too late. I know of at least 30 people queuing after the pub closes on Thursday night.

Im out on the town thursday night now! and if im in town still at 3am or anywhere near that time i might just settle down a bench outside the store! better than going home and coming back 3 hours later lol

Has anyone got a nanoSIM from a 3 store yet? I went in yesterday but they said they wouldn't have them until Thursday.
I'll try again tomorrow, start the ball rolling with getting my number transferred to them too.

I got mine through their website and it came in the mail today, but when I went into the Three store at London Liverpool Street today for a free adaptor, they had a whole box full of nano-SIMs.

Good answer! Thanks, I'll try again in town tomorrow.

I would activate it it beforehand to make sure that everything is working. Some people have said that their nano SIM didn't work and they had to get another sent out. Also if you have a problem of any kind it would be easier to get it fixed when their CS is a bit quieter.

I was told in the Cambridge store I would have to wait until next week, and ORDER an adapter.
