Hmm not sure exactly how much I'd be tethering but considering I'll be watching movies and a few football games each month I would imagine that would be a few gig? The tethering works out to be an extra £48 over the 2 years so just deciding if its worth sticking to the one plan for peace of mind if anything.

I use it for Sky Go, meaning a couple of films and a few footy matches. Partly why I don't mind the extra cost is because I use it to its fullest, I generally get good fast stable signals, and I think it's pretty good value compared to a lot of other carriers.

If its anything like my iPad delivery with Syncreon, I think it's largely pointless keeping an eye on them until tomorrow afternoonish anyway.

Let it load for ages, just keep it on another tab. Every time I leave it on and go back every so often it's loaded.

The tracking page is working now (with heavy load times) but once you put your numbers in and ask it to track that's when everything dies for myself and others.

If there's no change at 10, I'll do my best to chillax until midnight. It's actually sad but this WILL affect my sleep.

guys chill your beans if your order says the delivery date estimate thats when its delivered no need to check if the tracking number is working every minute give it time apple have a alot of orders shipped then ups has to update every one with tracking info.

Did anyone else watch BBC Watchdog tonight? Apart from the poor animals and Joe the salesman from Landmark Home Security in Kent, Apple did get a mention pertinent to the Lightening to 30-pin adapter issue.

I will be calling Apple on Friday if I don't see one, because I was led to believe that I would be receiving one.

im trying to track my order via UPS but keeps coming up with cant find item or something like that, am i doing something wrong or is everyone getting this?

Yeah I watched too, I think I read the other day apple was investigating?

Sorry - read this :

http://thenextweb.com/apple/2012/09/14/iphone-5-orders-shipping-free-lightning-30-pin-adapter/

They made an "error." It won't ship with one!

Their detection is rather weak, depends if you get caught. I know some ports on games don't work because ports are blocked :/.

It's weird though - to complicate matters, I was on a non-One plan plan inbetween my One Plan, and the plan I'm on now. On this middle plan, so to speak, if I tried to enable personal hotspot, I received the "contact your carrier to enable this feature" error message. Now it just works. No JB, just directly via the bog standard iOS setting.

Not complaining mind. Free tethering on an AYCE, £30 a month plan will do me very nicely indeed :)

I still think everyone will end up getting a free one (A la Bumpers for the 4 Launch)

I think the original plan was for one to be included (which is why the website had the information) Apple realise that theres probably a fair few people who wont need/want one, so instead of having them clogging up drawers around the world do a scheme like this,

People complain, Apple give them away, everyone thinks Apple are the mutts nuts for solving a problem that should have never existed.

You might want to ring them tomorrow before going down Friday. That's what I plan to do for my T-Mobile reservation.

yea i might do but they seem a bit useless, its a store inside a shopping centre that dosent open until 10am so im thinking of going down at 9.30 and waiting outside the centre to hopefully be one of the first few in even though i have a reservation, i specifically want a black 32gb and since they havent asked me a model its a bit concerned...

This - I also believe that the wording is sufficient enough for it to be formed as part of the contract of sale - already spoken to Trading Standards, and they agree with me on this one.

can anybody use the UPS tracking system already? for me it alsways says it can't find the tracking number...

Would have thought apple would release a statement, in the coming few days?
