ct2k7 has put some effort in to keep that post updated so it is only fair that people are directed there for the useful information it contains.

Yea that's fair enough I don't mind people telling me the info is there.....but I find it odd that some people assume I should have known it was there, that's all....I appreciate the help, not the unwarranted mocking :)

I successfully got a result from syncreon, sort of that is, only to be told numbers not recognised yet.

So DON'T bother with syncreon until tomorrow when the numbers will work.

Someone posted on this forum that their prices are £20 greater then Apple's offering, though I find this hard to believe.

Nano Sim to Micro Sim Hack

I've mentioned previously I ordered a nano-sim to micro-sim adapter from an incredibly slow ebay seller that says they're in Leicester, yet take 6 days to ship. This is a bit of a sod since I'm on a business trip next week and need my sim active and number transferred while moving from ip4 to ip5.

I've had my Vodafone nano-sim since yesterday, and I'd noticed that the chip in some old Giffgaff cards was about the same size. 20 minutes with a scalpel, needle file and sellotape resulted in this crude but effective adapter.

Number transferring on friday. :D

I did that and was told that the chat was only for people who were planning to buy, not for those who has already ordered. Had to ring them up.

Yeah called them earlier today and was told the same thing, but the girl that helped me could see my order and confirmed all the details back to me. I know all is well but I'm stupidly impatient!!

Did you not get an adapter in the pack? You could have gone to an O2 store and faked being a customer to get one of their nano SIMs which come with an adapter...
