This - I also believe that the wording is sufficient enough for it to be formed as part of the contract of sale - already spoken to Trading Standards, and they agree with me on this one.

And the wording on the site isnt as if they can claim it was a typo, it was a whole sentence that specifically stated people were getting them.... Id be almost certain people will get them, maybe not right away, but soon enough

We don't have UPS tracking numbers, I mean, you could call them up and ask for it.

hmm, then... why does apple say the assigned carrier is UPS and provides a tracking number?

They didn't deliver my iPad 3 and then said that they left a card - which they hadn't. Had to drive to their depot in Birmingham on Saturday and they took over an hour to find it in the warehouse.

My wife was also heavily pregnant at the time (my son was born the following Tuesday) so it was smiles all round ... not.

I had a problem like this before. They said they left a card twice, so I asked what colour door I had. Turned out they were going to the wrong house so someone could have had a free iphone if they answered the door! Turned out they were in the process of returning it to T-Mobile when I decided to pick it up from the depot so somehow I ended up with an iPhone and a £500 deposit into my bank account from T-Mobile! I think TMobile refunded me because it was on its way to be returned, but I didn't want to ask just in case they decided to charge me

CPW Phone Preorders

No. Ordered an upgrade through CPW on Friday. Had no contact at all from them, but money has been taken from my bank account.

Still no email. Fingers crossed that it gets sent tomorrow!

No point in trying to be honest, I've been trying for 2 hours, It allows me to put in my tracking and order numbers and then dies.

Yey Just ordered 64gb iPhone 5 Black from 3 with unlimited internet, 2000 minutes and 5000 texts (and tethering and 5000 three to three mins) for 24 months. Estimated arrival: Tues 2nd October.

Does anyone know if we can see anything / do anything with the order reference number?

IIRC Syncreon provides a different tracking number for UKmail (or UPS/TNT if they are used) when their tracking kicks in.

How would they know? I wouldn't be doing anything I wouldn't on my phone. It's just if I can get it to work, it would be a plus for making me want an iPad and streaming things on a bigger screen etc

famous last words , tethering can be tracked. Word of advice keep an eye on your unbilled usage if you do tether without plan.

Did anyone else watch BBC Watchdog tonight? Apart from the poor animals and Joe the salesman from Landmark Home Security in Kent, Apple did get a mention pertinent to the Lightening to 30-pin adapter issue.

I will be calling Apple on Friday if I don't see one, because I was led to believe that I would be receiving one.

I was drifting in and out of it but the ringworm bit put me off so I turned over to watch the Chelsea match
