To be honest, I missed my delivery by 10 minutes, which meant I had to undergo a 4 hour return trip to collect it today, including running for quite some distance and arriving at the depot dead on 8pm (when they are meant to close). I'm in no rush to be petty about my iPhone.

My iPad 3 actually came with a scuff, but it's never something I noticed day to day, and there's been a few scuffs since then anyway. All I can say is enjoy the ****ing thing, otherwise why did you bother buying one! :D

The first bill on any contract is usually a month in advance plus your normal months payment.

Some carriers charge a full month, some have a specific billing date and charge you from the day you took out the contract until that billing date, plus your normal months bill on top.

All depends on the carrier.

I'm not even sure there are whiter screens out there. Most of the ones i've seen are warm.

On another note. I'm getting these speeds on O2 indoors. Meh...i'll take it.

Apple's website said 1st of October delivery, but I've just checked and I'm pleased to see that UPS will be delivering my iPhone this Monday.
 
I ordered a black for myself and a white for my girlfriend and my whites are far whiter. Hers are not yellow but you can see it is calibrated warmer. I prefer the whiter whites tbh, with our 4s I ended up with the warmer hues and was always envious of her display. Both phones are perfect btw.

Anyone know how long it's gonna take for apps to update, having had an s2 for the past 3 months between the 4s and 5, I'm hating the 3.5" apps:(

Oh and just 9mb indoors on 3 on 3 bars for me:p I've switched my wifi off, it feels so quick through data, my s2 while having the same download speed never felt anywhere near as quick through network data usage
 
Just got a text from ukMail to say my phone will be delivered today :)

Will still need to wait a few days to transfer my number from Vodafone to Orange. Does anyone know a quicker way to port my number instead of phoning Orange? I have my PAC code but don't fancy spending an hour on hold to Orange!!

Depends on how many minutes you need, Three's One Plan works out £83 cheaper to get on contract as opposed to buying the handset outright and paying for a 24 month sim only plan

No brainer imo

*edit* i'm an idiot, never read your post properly (top end contracts)

Though point stands to a degree you don't have to payout £700 up front for the phone with the remaining £417 split over 24 months works out at an equivalent £17pm

It may not be LTE but here is my Three Mobile 3G speed test. Looking forward to when they switch on their LTE now.:D

My phone is going nekkid. I have a case for it but it's a 4s case I am using until I can get hold of an iphone 5 sleeve.

My phone is perfect, no scratches, no scuffs, just pure class.

I do miss the weightiness of the 4s though. I am trying to push away the thoughts of "This reminds me of a child's plastic toy, and I paid HOW MUCH?"

Note: Looks like I am still taking blurry pictures, Ugh, I cannot hold the 4s properly without shaking.

It does seem a shame to cover with a case. I used to have a ultra thin sleeve made by sena for iPod touch, I may try and get hold of one for iPhone 5
 
The silver shows through quite a bit down one side of my black model. Think I can live with it though as cannot be done with the hassle of getting it swapped while all the shops are crazy busy.
 
Orange are telling me they can't track individual orders.
So a huge company has sent out 1000's of £600 phones and doesn't know where they are? What a load of rubbish, if they had sent them they would have a tracking no.
I think they don't have the stock they've promised, but won't admit it.

As it is not included you are liable to be charged if you tether.

I upgraded (been with Orange approx 7 years..) on Friday

I haven't had anything this morning except a text saying turn phone off then on again/ upgraded services (which I found odd).

Does it look like I'm going to get it?

I read somewhere, don't know if it was on this thread earlier, of someone who had the same problem. They opened the phone up, to find it was the battery loose from its glue, or whatever it is they use to stop it moving about.
