I don't know if it will help anyone but I've just noticed my 32G(white) is preparing to ship and the original arrival date was the 1st October.

I ordered mine around 9:30/10am on launch day.

How long does it take to go to "shipped" and receive a tracking number from the preparing stage?

Thanks in advance.

Will ship today. Same thing happened to me yesterday morning. Shipped in the evening for monday deliver. I too was quoted 1st of October. Hope this helps

Mine changed last night from processing to prepare to ship and now it has gone to shipped, to arrive on or before Tuesday.. Was originally 01/10. Just can't get tracking number to work yet for TNT.

SGP Are offering a back protector with the SGP Neo Hybrid Case, But It's not out yet :(

Just another quick question regarding Three. I know they used to fall back onto Oranges 2G network, but heard that was/is being pulled.

If I lose 3G reception with Three, am I still able to make/receive calls? Or is it 3G or nothing?

I can handle losing 3G for Internet, but its my phone that I want to make sure still works!

Got mine this morning!

Really happy with the phone. The only thing that is bothering me is the colours on the phone look a bit too saturated. Shame they cant be adjusted.

I ordered mine around 3pm on the 15th (the Saturday) in the UK, and I'm quoted for it to dispatch between October 3rd and 9th, any chance this will be bumped up?

I've never used Apple before so I'm just wondering for anyone who had a similar situation with the 4S

Im on Vodafone and my girlfriend is on 3. How easy would it be to swap my number to her 3 sim and her number to my Vodafone sim..?

I want 3 speeds, as Vodafone is getting 2mb max

It really depends on the area.

I know a few places where I can use the Orange 2G network - although it only works for calls and text messages.

T-Mobile are bloody rubbish, why did I sign up for them! Just called them since I've heard nothing from them and the lady told me, theres no tracking number for your order but it has been dispatched from Apple, Apple told us to tell customers that it will take up to 30 days to deliver. !!!

I ordered my phone last friday at midday, people who've ordered after me have got there phones already??!

I might cancel

Damaged out of the box!

Got mine this morning from Orange. Ordered at 8.01 last Friday. Unfortunately it has a small dent on the anodised black edge and a small scuff. The Orange return help line is closed over the weekend so will be returning it on Monday :(

Ordered a 64gb on the 14 th with Orange and was going to port my number over from O2, never received any conformation text, had a text this morning saying its being delivered today at my work address. No one is at work today. I have changed my mind now and gonna send it back and buy a unlocked one from apple as I don't fancy being locked in a contract with Orange seeing as my other half just got stung with a £300 + Vat bill just for data charges....£2.55 per mb
Never had that with O2 and I stream Sky Go and tv.

Thanks for the heads up, much appreciated.

Just got off a half hour phone call to Apple, in regards to my chipped iPhone. To be fair to them, their customer service is excellent. Just a shame their quality control wasn't on point this time.

They've arranged for a new iPhone to be sent out priority, and then I can just send back the old one at my leisure. Gotta love that.

Now here's to hoping the new one isn't defective!

Thanks a lot mate, much appreciate a very welcome surprise as was expecting mine much later!

I haven't moved my phone very much at all, but I'm already starting to see silver come through on the sides, hmmm.

Help! My phone has been on for 18 hours now and I'm still getting 'No service'. My old iphone 4 has also reverted to 'no service' so I have no phone.

I'm on 3 and the documentation with the nano sim said it's already activated. I've turned it off and on again a few times.

Anyone else unable to connect with Three?

You will need to turn Wifi OFF.

Go here and activate your sim

http://www.three.co.uk/Support/SIM_activation

Turn phone on and off again.

This is what I did, it took one hour before I went and phoned 3 and as I was on the phone to the Customer Tech Support, the 3G popped up on my screen

Follow instructions here if you get stuck

I must be lucky then, I've cut down 2 sims (a 3 PAYG to practice and then my T-Mobile contract sim).

I used this template - http://www.airportal.de/nanosim/

Premarked the cutting lines on my contract sim last night and used the scissors on my Swiss Army knife while standing in the car park outside the Apple Store after picking up my phone.

Works perfectly.

Get in! Well done mate. To be honest, my failure with an Orange micro-SIM is complicated because it's a corporate SIM that I was trying to insert into an unlocked phone when I am not sure it really was unlocked properly by Vodafone. Oh well. Returns Monday, buys one from Apple directly

Three have removed the fall back in areas where they have coverage so it shouldn't make a difference in normal circumstances. The only people it affected was people who were on 3 but didn't have 3G phone, oddly there were some people in that category!

People weren't kidding when they said it was painful experience trying to cancel stuff with 3. Done now though and now running T-Mobile 1 month rolling sims.

Guess im the first in the world to get a faulty iPhone..

Siri and dictation cannot hear me no matter what, on the phone to AppleCare support right now.

Anyone else had problems with a T-mobile nano sim activating. I finally got one in the second store I tried, they said they activated it in store but I just get No service on my phone. On hold to them now but the wait times are stupid.

The person in the first store that had no stock was really cheeky too, trying to tell me they are the best network. What a joke, even 3 that come bottom of all customer service tables have handled this whole thing better.

I'm on orange and I had no service for ages until I reset the phone again presume you tried that?

Yep tried that. I will definitely be leaving T-Mobile when my contract leaves, they have been a complete joke from start to finish. If they use the excuse that there have been a lot of activations so it is taking longer I will not be happy. This whole thing is of there own making, they should have released the SIMs earlier like other networks.
