Not sure whether to replace...

So this is the nick/dent on my new Black iPhone I received yesterday.

It's the only dent on the phone, however this is my first iPhone and I paid alot of money for it so I'm in two minds about whether to get a replacement or not.

I wouldn't buy a brand new car from the showroom with scratches or anything on it....

I'm debating whether to take it down to the apple store in town and see if I can get a replacement. However I bought it online .. could I take it down to the apple store and replace it there (if they have any), even though I got it online?

I'd rather replace it in person so I can inspect the box....

Yep tried that. I will definitely be leaving T-Mobile when my contract leaves, they have been a complete joke from start to finish. If they use the excuse that there have been a lot of activations so it is taking longer I will not be happy. This whole thing is of there own making, they should have released the SIMs earlier like other networks.

The wife and I walked into a T-Mobile store this afternoon. 20 mins later we walked out with 2 new T-Mobile nano-sims to replace our dreadful coverage 3 nano-sims.

Everything worked a charm.

Yeah you can take online orders to the store. I've done it in the past. Book a Genuis appointment online if you can.

That's quite noticeable, but I notice something around the SIM tray slot more. What's going on there?

I think it could just be the angle and light ... I had a closer look and it's not scratched or anything...

The wee dent is very tiny, I'm thinking of going down and getting it changed but I don't want to sound like a picky little so and so ... it's just when you pay that much for a phone you don't expect a dink in it .. no matter how small it is

Could you go in and just say I'd like to exchange my iphone because there are a few dinks around the edge of my new one that I got delivered (I just discovered another small one along the bottom) ..

There's no appointments available for a while

I was very surprised, but nicely so, that I could walk straight in to the O2 shop in Northallerton and get a iPhone 5 on a scheduled upgrade, no queue and stock available (don't think there was any 32Gb though).

Have yours activated? Mine was entered into the system at 11am but they say it is still pending and will take upto 24hrs, they at least credited back the £10 back that I paid for the sim as a goodwill gesture.

I at least managed to activate the phone so I can use it, but I can't make any calls or send and texts.

Yea I went there yesterday to get one for a friend but there was a queue. Quite a large stock

Have now managed to track via TNT website and mine is now due 24/09 a week early, so am pleased, just hope I open it on Monday and don't find any scratches! If there are any I will be exchanging and will consider a white one...

After the fun and games of yesterday.. CPW and Yodel finally came good. Mint black iPhone finally delivered.

Any major dents/scratches? Or are they limited to US models?

I'm deeply worried now. Getting my 64gb black from london, should arrive this monday (as i live abroad)

How do you guys find three for coverage and the speeds you're getting? State your area if you're not shy!

How is that? On 3. Must be HSPA+ or DC-HSPA.

I was shocked at how fast I got.

Half LTE speeds basically.

I have that speed at my house but not a mile away in the town centre. LTE brings reliable and fast access everywhere that's the difference.
