Did you get the carrier update pop up? I got it when I plugged into iTunes.
It'll say EE when you are on your home network, otherwise it'll say orange-tmobile if you roam to the other network

If you ordered in store you have no option to change, with T-Mobile there is no cooling off period.
Online or over the phone you have 7-14 days to change your mind.

If you bought it from T-Mobile online or over the phone, you'll almost certainly have to send it back to them.
Apple will not accept it - you didn't buy it from them.
You could try emailing the executive office at Everything Everywhere with your account details and they should be able to arrange the swap for you. Just a way to save some hassle

Does anyone know what's the procedure of returning a phone if you bought it online in the UK Apple Store, and you're not from UK? Mine will be delivered this week and if it's damaged out of the box, I need to know how to return it. Do I have to call them first or send an email? And it probably has to be done within the 14 day period?

Yes, today in fact. Reserved at the Belfast store today and got an email around 7pm.
I've reserved at the Milton Keynes store and Watford store and i got nothing so far.
Time to try again!
Well, after waiting all day Friday for UK Mail to show up, they lied about attempting delivery at 18:08 and didn't bring anything.
I've rearranged for today - let's hope they actually bother to deliver this time!
Anybody else in the same situation?
I tried to complain but they just didn't seem to care. Is it worth complaining to Apple directly about UK Mail?

Apologies I was under the impression that it was still first come, first served.
That seems to be the orange way I'm afraid. I've been a customer for 14 year so they don't look after their own either. They used to be very good, and maybe they still are but they have totally ballsed the iPhone launch up. Customer Service is 07973 100150 from other numbers but you probably already know that. How did you order it? It all seems to be about getting the right department as they aren't all very informed.
Will the iPhone 5 be available to look at in the apple store now? Was going into town this week and wanted to see how it feels
According to my mate who went to the Manchester Arndale Store they had a whole table of white and black models out yesterday. So I assume its like that for most Apple stores.
There were loads on display in the Watford Apple Store, each one had an iPad next to it showing the prices and contracts on offer.
On the phone to Orange now. They dont have any Black 32gb and dont know when they are coming in. Giving me a 64Gb for an extra £30 up front cost. Not bad. Nice bloke this morning as well. The least they can do at this stage I would say.
Edit: They are apparently phoning people on the back order list to offer the stock they do have. Also said they have a lot of 16gb.

Anyone having to activate your iOS 6 device every time you change your simcard?
I use many sim cards from different carriers and with iOS5 and iPhone 4 it wasn't necessary to activate the device each time I changed the simcard, now with my new iPhone 5 it asks me to activate every single time a new sim card is inserted.
Is this now a normal thing? can it be changed somehow?
If anyone have a solution please help me out!
