This is the worst experience of customer service I've ever had, not only do they not know anything about what's going on but instead of admitting it they just give out random answers.

Really not happy with Orange about this.

I just rang UKmail and gave them my postcode, they said there's nothing in the system that's coming to my address, so I'm not getting it today (as promised by Orange).

They make everything way harder than it should be. I will be moving to Three I think, but that is reliant on the bloody unlock codes coming through as well. They even charged me £20 to unlock each phone.

Still, I have the satisfaction of knowing that they wont be getting any more of my money. ****ers.

Edit: No doubt the phone will now arrive at my house this afternoon.

my sympathies to all suffering from the utter incompetence of Orange. I too have been completely messed around by them for the last 11 days with endless rubblish, rudeness and mis-information. They took my money but lost my order. Customer for 14 years - most monthly bills are £100. I could actually live with them if they just said sorry and gave real, consistent information. I was going to ask for my PAC today but got the text this morning that my phone would be here between 8-11am. Oh wait, it's 13.38 though.... Hope you get all yours sorted soon though folks.

When I spoke to the retentions team they called UKmail to cancel the delivery apparently. So they cannot tell me when it is coming, they have no stock, but UKmail are delivering it. They are beyond useless.

I now have 30 days to use my PAC code, but the unlock code could take 30 days to come through. I guess I sign up with Three and wait for the code?? God knows. Been with Orange on and off (ie when in the country) for I think 16 years. For the last two years I have had £100 a month with two iphones on my account. They are actually so incompetent they are chucking away long term customers for no reason.

did they not even offer anything to make you stay?
 
Three have been brilliant so far, havnt had one hitch and download speeds have been great. They are definitely the top mobile provider at the moment so to those of you complaining about orange/t-mobile ( I was with orange and left them for the iphone 5 launch) stop complaining and simply leave them for three.
 
Just been and pre-ordered my White 32gb iPhone 5 with at my local t-Mobile shop:). Was going to switch to 3 til they said they need to see my passport or driving licence :mad:. I don't have either of those so decided to stay where I am.
 
just like to say i am very happy with the new iphone 5. It is very light and the new screen size feels just right. I wish apple and google were friends as I am missing street view on google maps.

hopefully google maps app gets the green light.
 
Anyone that missed the preorder window with 02. How long have u had to wait so far or did u wait to receive your phone?

I finally managed to get through to order yesterday. Guy said to allow 3 weeks tho he would think it will be more like 10-14 days.

Not meaning to rub it in or anything, but I ordered 5 hours after you and got my phone on Friday.

Yeah, they seem to have just completely missed my order, and after saying a manager would call me back in 30 minutes, it's been 3 hours...

Didn't you get an email? they taken the money out of your bank?
 
Didn't receive my phone from orange after being guaranteed itd be here today. Was told it could be up to a month, absolute jokes they are. Think they'll be losing a customer.
 
Has anyone ordered from the online applestore and had to get theres replaced? If so how long did it take for the replacement to arrive? Im being told around 5 days but cant see that myself especially when there is a 4 week delay
 
This is just my observation

I think most of these delayed orders might be an apple control problem ie that they have heard to many iPhones having scuffs and the problem at the Foxxcon factory will lead to not many iPhones being made,

it now looks as if it could be a long wait for new iPhones to make it out the system if Apple are intent on trying to sort out why so many are being sent back and what happened at that factory yesterday.

Luckily i got my order on Friday by UPS, direct from Apple and even more luckily i ordered a White 32G

What i don't see when people complain about their order not being delivered is what colour of iPhone they ordered , could it be that most of the ones not being deilvered are black ?
 
I went to buy a 32GB Black from the online store but it's saying 3-4 weeks delivery.
Is this correct or would I receive it before that?

Mine finally arrived after 4 days of UK Mail fail!

My advice to anybody else having trouble with UK Mail's awfulness - phone Apple. They were very helpful and sorted it all out for me, and my phone arrived 30 minutes after calling them.
 
Can someone with knowledge on the issue please help me with my query?

I just received my iPhone from CPW and it is contracted to Orange. I took out an Orange contract because I have a family member who works at CPW to take advantage of the staff discount. I found out that staff discount on Orange contract is only for staff members and only O2 offer the discount to family and friends.

I would like now to exchange my Orange contract for on O2 contract, but I was wondering, as there is a shortage of stock, would I be able to keep the phone and just ask for an O2 sim card? Or will the phone have to go back to? I have not activated the Orange sim card.

Can someone confirm/deny this for me please. O2 on web chat have just said to be there's a special 'upgrade to iphone 5' for exsisting customers. So basically even though im not in my upgrade period yet, there's an offer if i want to upgrade early to the iPhone 5. I haven't heard this anywhere else, and he couldn't tell me what the offer was, just to call 202 and find out if i wanted more infomation.

Anyone??
