Anyone Ordered from Three UK ?

I placed an Order Saturday Night on there site for a 64gb White IPhone 5

Everything went through fine, the delivery date i got was 3rd October

and now i've checked there site again and they have pushed delivery dates of IPhone 5's to 17th October.

So just wondering if any of you guy's ordered and got there's early ?

Probably wont happen but i have a feeling i might get mine tomorrow:confused:

cause most guy's who didn't pre-order are getting there's early.

My god, I had a feeling that trying to email T Mobile to cancel my new contract was going to be harder than I expected. T Mobile are so poor its untrue. Im trying to email them but in order to send them the email, they need a customer service password which as I'm a new customer, I don't have. My god, give me strength.

It looks like ill have to phone their hideous customer service number tomorrow. So annoyed right now.

Think yourself lucky, I ordered mine about 40 minutes before you and I don't even have an order number to track.

Me too and orange just bounce emails back, waiting for 64gb white and 32gb black from orange ,so fed up the sons blackberry has crashed this week and got home from work to answer phone message from school 2 hrs previous to say he was at hospital.just want the phones it's not rocket science but I'm not alone it just feels that new customers are getting the phones and upgraders not even getting texts to reference no's:mad:

Ive decided that I'm going to cancel my order with T Mobile and go straight into an Apple store and get my contract that way. I don't like the way they seem to treat you as a number and fob you off with a ton of crap and don't give you an answer on when you will receive your phone. At least by getting it directly from Apple, I know ill have one in my hands, the day I get the contract up and running.

T Mobile and Orange should be ashamed of how they have approached this launch for the iPhone 5. Fair enough stocks are low etc but be honest with your customers rather than treating them like rubbish.

im in the same boat as you! could you let me know how it goes, because I want to do this too, Tmobile have really messed up this whole pre-order thing!

I'd try calling the online store support team to find out what's happening with your order.

I called them a few times last week and I was very impressed with the service that they provided.

That's not true.

I'm a new cust and have not received a txt for the consignment number..still waiting.. :(

Its probably changed then due to even more of a demand. I live in Reading and my mate went to the Reading store where they let him have his. He knows a few other people that went in yesterday and picked theirs up without a reservation as well. Maybe its different for the stores outside of London. God knows.

I tired a reservation at the Reading store today, no joy. I asked for unlocked though. I wonder if you can say you want a contract then buy unlocked when you get there if they are prioritising contracts.

There were queues outside the Eldon Sq branch both days of the weekend, I was quite surprised at just how long the queue was at 3pm on Saturday afternoon.

According to a friend of mine, the queue on launch day was 300 people long, not sure where he got the numbers from though. I rang the store yesterday afternoon and they said they don't know when they'll be getting deliveries and that they only have contract iPhones in, not sim free at the minute, which is what I'm after.

Anyone, am I right in thinking you have to make a new reservation everyday?

Will do mate. I was trying to email them but its impossible to email them due to the customer service password (which I haven't got). the only other way I can think of emailing them is by replying to the email they sent confirming your order but knowing T Mobile, they will probably reply saying that we need to phone the dreaded customer services.

I cant imagine they would let that happen as everyone could do that otherwise and it would cause problems. No harm in trying though as you never know, it might work.

Try emailing cust.rel@t-mobile.co.uk for T-Mobile complaints department. Although they are just as useless as customer services, I made a complaint about the way they handled the release of nano-sims and they responded with some nonsense about being able to pre-order the iPhone 5 from them.

Whats the situation with your credit score when you are accepted for a contract but then cancel it? some people are saying that if you go for the same contract again (through Apple rather than the service provider directly) or a different contract, it will get rejected. Is this true?

Cool, cheers for that. Do you think it will be possible to cancel a contract through that email address?

Im half tempted to just go to Apple tomorrow, start a new contract and then just send the other one back when it decides to show up. Probably easier than trying to get hold of anyone with half a brain cell at T Mobile.

I called them today my 64Gb was ordered last Wednesday for a 1/10 delivery and based on what they know it will still be 1/10

Have any UK-ers who reserved online today received an email saying they can pickup tomorrow?

Reserved one for collection at the Glasgow store at around 12.30pm but haven't had anything yet. :( So I'm guessing I'm probably stuck without an iPhone (having sold my 4S) for another day.

Apple store at Braehead has everything except 16GB in stock as of 5pm today. Went in and got one straight away, was out of there 15 mins later after setting my contract up.

No idea, they will probably just respond with something completed unrelated to your email but at least if you do it as a complaint you can raise it higher if you don't get anywhere.

Ive just emailed them and it can only be described as a 'fierce' email. Ive gone into so much detail as to how disappointed I've been with their service and how bad they are at dealing with customers. Ive stated everything that should get the point across. I even mentioned the words 'Trading Standards'.

Even if they don't deal with it at that email address, they have the chance to pass it on to the right department to deal with my issue as clearly from their own website, its impossible for us to do that ourselves.

There were at least that number of people queuing at the Metro Centre on launch day so I would say its likely to have been at least that at Eldon.

With regard the reservation, yes, every day a new one, if you don't get a confirmation that evening the request is cancelled. Why not try Metro Centre as well?

What a surprise, that email bounced straight back.

I give up.

Ah they must be being clever. I got that email as a result of filling in the web form. The subject has a case ID in it, so I am guessing they only accept email into the address if you have contacted them through the web form first.

Yeah that would not surprise me one bit at all. Anything to get out of dealing with a situation.

Its got to such a desperate state that I just ended up sending the same email but this time, just replying to my order confirmation email they sent me. So far so good as it hasn't bounced back yet.

I would agree, I did this exact thing today. I had enough went to the Covent Garden store without a reservation and was able to upgrade my tmobile contract. It is well known even amongst the staff tmobile are even one of the most awkward networks to upgrade with in store.

I couldn't believe my divine luck. I ended up with a black 32gb with no appointment and reservation. You just have to say you want it on contract or upgrade. They are usually reservation or out of stock for mainly sim free models.

In regards to the reservation system I also got confirmation of getting one for tomorrow. Before I went to Covent Garden I applied for three stores and ended up with Regent Street for the model I want. I would give it to somebody else but it says it needs your name on the ID and there appears to be no way to cancel it from the email.

But yeah apple store is the way to go they had full month 41 for tmobile contracts as well. Exactly the same price as the carrier and with all the stock. Tmobile's handling of the whole launch has been ropey (but I'm staying cos they're cheap and potential 4G).

I would be advising anybody wanting an iPhone on contract to either go via reservation or try Covent garden. That was also 6pm last night (24th) that I got the phone.

I ordered a few hours after preorders opened and after the initial allocation sold out. I'd been given a preliminary delivery date of 1st of October. I've just had a shipping notification with a delivery date of tomorrow! Presumably Apple are shipping in bulk to the UK and posting from within the UK. Good news!
My phone, initially set for 1st october, came yesterday! (Or rather, the day you posted your post)

Anyway I have a little problem guys:

I am on Three SIM-Only contract, put the SIM in the phone and it activated fine, within a few minutes it found and displayed the 3 network. However, the MyThree App says I'm not connected to the network, and when I disable WiFi and have a go at loading a web page, it'll display a 2-3 bar 3G signal but the page will not load.

What's going wrong? I've done the steps for a carrier update. The phone can receive calls made to it.

I ordered my phone awhile ago and they took the money , the money has now been returned but the order is still outstanding with a few weeks to run, is this normal?

Yep, they'll charge it again once it ships.
