To be honest Loopy, I'm not sure. I was working nights on the 13th and ordered when I got up. Best guest would be mid-afternoon. I know that doesn't help, sorry. Hope you get some good news soon !!!
 
Store seems to be down.
So that's two days in a row I'll be checking every hourish and hoping that somehow my order status will of changed to "prepering to ship" when it come back up... Like most of you it's been a about 3 weeks now and that page tauts me everyday.

On play.com they are accepting orders and give an estimated release date of 15th October. Not sure how true that is, they may just be putting a middle of the month date on it

I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm getting sick to death of apple.

Todays tactic is put a couple in, sit back and forget it, not bother checking til I get up tomorrow morning and dealing with it then.

APPLE:

I'll happily stay up and reserve on a first come first serve basis at a particular early morning time. I'll happily form a queue outside your store and wait.

Please stop this utter joke of a reservation lottery!

Depressed. My N95 8GB has died today as well, so thats the backup phone gone too :)

Hi mate,

Yup she changed it for me, no problems. I just changed it to my next door as I'll be at work next week.

If you give them a call, see what they say about the deilvery, hopefully it's still on track for Monday!!

Suggest you use a script to automate it, as it seems the counter will keep going up :confused:

Its back up now, and no change to my order :(

Out of interest, I have a adapter in the same Order, would I still get notification that it has shipped, even though the adapter hasnt....
 
I called apple again. She was saying that the order will ship on the weekend and arrive on Monday, and that she's seen cases like this before (with the 4s, iPad, etc..)
 
Well I think its safe to say, our orders are going right to the end of the expected delivery date.

So all those with 2- 8 Oct, will get theirs Monday and those like me with 3- 9 Oct, will get their phones Tuesday.



Oh well, was wishfully thinking I would be going home to unbox my iphone 5 on Wednesday evening:(
 
Hi all. Just interested to hear how things went for all of us who had such a hassle with Orange. After an unbelievable week of mistakes and mess ups I did get my phone on launch day. Anyone?

My guess is that everyone (2-8 and 3-9 Oct) will get their phones on Monday.

I can second this!
The Apple Lady said that the order status may not change until Sunday overnight, but I still will get my iPhone delivered on Monday the 8th.

You can simply look at your reservation email from the 14th

I the fact that delivery dropped to 2-3 weeks from around 9.30am that morning surprised a lot of people

Just changed my address to my relatives, so won't have to wait til i get back to play with my nice shiny new phone!! Just hope the courier driver can find it, it's down a farm track between some houses, knowing my luck i'll get a new driver that doesn't know the area!!
