two quick things...
1) I was just asked for my name. Didn't ask for any other id.
2) Currys/PC World have lightning cables for £15 now. I will get a spare I think.

Thanks for the heads up.
Ive chosen a suitable time for collection.
i picked up a nano sim from 02 last week in readiness and was going to do an online sim swap but are you saying they help with this ?
----------
Cheers Dave,
Just gotta get thro working 9am till 2pm and then a train ride to the store.
----------
Hi Chris.
Did you go for the white or black/slate ?
Good 1st one out of the box ?
Apple store I went to asked to see my photo ID and the email. They did all the sim swap for me with Three, so it was up and running when I left the store. Really good service at the Bath Store.
I did ring the store to confirm the reservation. Maybe it was the same guy? But no, just the name given, and no email required.
Im thinking more and more that the i.d request is for users buying them on contract or upgrading their contract !
Im buying mine sim free and when i click on the link within the e mail which should tell me what to bring it just connects to an apple page about making reservations ,and how to make a genius appointment.
Nope. Got ID'd and I bought mine SIM free.
I'm only a SIM only plan with Orange (£15.50 a month, 1.5GB of data, 600 minutes and unlimited texts). I'm buying the iPhone 5 unlocked.
I'm unsure whether I'll be able to use EE's 4G network with my current plan. I'm in one of the cities advertised with coverage, and I'm assuming the nano sim card Orange have sent me will be LTE enabled?
Think Orange have said as an existing customer you'll get first opportunity to 'upgrade' to 4G. That'll of course involve entering in to a longer contract no doubt, and a price hike given its a new service and they have no competition yet.
Do you know the finer details on what is involved in upgrading my contract to 4G? I can't find much on their website.
There is no news mate. Apparently all gets revealed end of the month.
Ive read somewhere that the current iPhone 5 won't run 4g/Lte !
Am I wrong.
