ARG!!! Im stuck at working using IE8 and the site isnt working for me! I cant use the app because my 3GS died 2 weeks ago.

At this rate im gonna miss the launch day deliveries (

In UK? Apple have never done contracts on UK apple store.

Dont know which Apple store you been to buy they had all the carriers there in Bullring Apple store. When the 4 was ready to preorder I could preorder a contract phone and then theyd sort my contract when i picked it up in store.

Not showing on the website though. Frustrating as hell!!!

Its your money, and im not telling you how to spend it, but seriously 4S to 5?

i was on the fence yesterday about doing it myself, but the more i look at specs the more i think its not worth it this time round, unless you want more memory i guess.

EDIT: Store is working fast for me on Firefox and Safari on Mac atleast.

I'm only getting it if I can get enough back from my 4S to buy out the contract, how much do they sell for

Been an O2 customer for many years now, the last two on a SIM plan with a bought-outright Android phone, and was planning to switch to T-Mobile in order to take advantage of EE, and their subsidy of the phone.

Problems with this:

1. You can't have it delivered to your work address, so I'd have to queue at the damn Post Office
2. The estimated dates are vague "as soon as it's in stock" - when will that be?
3. Reading terms of switching to EE when it launches, you have to sign up to a new fixed term, so then you'll be out of cycle

So I did some very basic calculations. Turns out to get a SIM plan the same as the iPhone plans is £21/month at the moment, with only a 12 month commitment. Getting this and buying the phone from Apple, in the case of the 32GB model at least, ends up only £20 more over 24 months.

So I did that instead.

Exactly what I'm doing. The extra freedom is worth the at most small extra cost over the length of the contract. At least it is for me.

Wait a few hours for their phone lines to calm down, then give them a call. That or see if you can take the day off to stay home.

Cheers mate but I already rang and they don't allow it, you have to get it delivered to the address of the credit check. Ridiculous, what about people who work for a living?

Money's been taken out of my account and I've recieved a "Your order is being processed email". Also, my Order Status is set to "We've received your order" (attached). Is everyone else's order status the same? Can I go back to bed yet?

WTF!!! Just got a phone call from Barclays Fraud department about my iPhone 5 preorder and they cancelled it!!! I ordered at 8:01am. So i will have to order again, which might mean missing the first batch of phones. So angry right now!

Ordered at 8:12 UK.

iPhone 5 64GB

It took a while to load the pages, but the trick is to be patient and NEVER press refresh.
