I just went to the Three store on Cannon Street. I'm a current rolling month customer and they wanted to charge me £5.11 for the nano sim.

They would give it to me for free if I had. Purchased the phone through Three (I've ordered a handset from Apple.com), or if I cancelled my contract and took out a new rolling contract (ridiculous). They also didn't have any nano to micro adapters, so it would have been useless anyway.

Can anyone advise me where I should go/who I should speak to to get a nano sim and adapter for free please.

Thanks in advance.

Just had a call from natwest fraud protection about my iPhone transaction to confirm my transaction is legit

They blocked the £529 payment so not sure if this has messed up my order

It'll be fine.

One you confirm the payment is legit, they'll allow the hold.

Happened to me several times in the past with Santander and Apple.

All the best,

Mike

Me too. Wow, that's crazy.

I'm going to cut my own SIM. Hopefully using a tool, but if not, scissors very carefully oughta do it.

3 won't be getting it

I remember seeing a tweet a while back saying that they were looking into it, but I didn't get my hopes up. TBH I very rarely get any voicemails so i'm not thay bothered, but it would of been nice to have it.

The £36 a month on 3 (Three) in the UK... Surely it's gonna be more for the 4G or is that price the same for 3G and 4G?

This is confusing.

No chance. Nobody does them anymore I don't think.
Vodafone are doing 12 month. O2 are doing 18 month ones as well

Ring your store before going again.

That's what I did and walked out of the store with a nano sim & adapter for free.

Any further news for nano sims from O2?...On a simplicity and have managed to get my iPhone 5 pre ordered today for next friday, surely they'll be out before the release ?

You could go to another 3 store?

I really hope Three offer this soon. It's the only thing I miss about O2.

Why not get HulloMail? Works like visual voicemail on steroids. Your messages get sent to your email address too if you wish and are listed on the phone with the pic of the contact next to the alert.

Hullomail works with all UK networks apart from Tesco Mobile.

Ordered a 32GB version from Orange, paying ~£220 for the £36 a month contract. Bloody expensive. Any way of checking when my order is expected to be shipped? They claim to offer updates via text every three days, but I'm not convinced - is there an order checker section on their website?

Three won't be offering 4G until Sept 2013. That was part of the deal made with EE after purchasing part of their spectrum.

Is that a 24 month contract? If so that is bloody expensive. You could get much better deals.

Anyone care to help someone out with a dilemma? I know in my head what I should do, but I'm gonna put it out here anyway. Clear my conscience

So I have a 25% discount to use with Vodafone for the life a 2 year contract, and so I can get a 16GB phone for £31.50 per month, with unlimited calls, texts and 2GB of data. 32GB with same offering for £100 extra up front for cost of phone.

However, 3 is offering their 16GB for £34 for unlimited, albeit with a slightly higher up front charge. 32GB at £37.

I'm torn between going for more storage or more data. The way I'm trying to think is that if I can stream songs over 3G, then I can do without the extra space. 2GB might be limiting me, but the larger capacity means I could get most of my stuff on there.

What would you do in my situ? Obviously we're all going to be different, so you can quit writing 'it's your own choice' I'm well aware of that... I would just be interesting in figuring out whether people go for capacity over data or vice versa :)

I would go for more data. 16GB is more than enough for me, plus I use Spotify and that eats data. I refuse to pay a high price for a phone on contract, but thats just me.

I'd be tempted to go with 3. I'm going to leave Vodafone to go with them based on the 32gb one plan. Also it includes tethering which Vodafone will charge extra for.
