That's what I'm thinking. I have a vodafone rep ringing me shortly to discuss (he rang yesterday but I said I was waiting for the iPhone 5). Unless he can offer me something spectacular, then I shall most likely go with 3. They seem to have come on leaps and bounds over the years. And byfar have the best deals today!
They removed it from the UK site as well. So I doubt it.
They better reverse their decision again.

they cant just remove it off the site after people have bought the phone when it said they come with an adapter, major **** up apple!
Ive just been speaking to someone online - point blank told me that no Nano sims will be available before 21st.
"We don't currently supply the phone so no sim available"
What a ridiculous thing to say. They expect me to phone on the 21st to get a sim card sent out to arrive, when? The middle of the next week??
Said none will be available in stores either - I hope they change this stance over the weekend...

I walked into my local 3 store yesterday and walked out with a new Nano SIM and a free adaptor (at no charge).
Orange early delivery
I ordered online from Orange as their phone said that times were too busy. Ordered 2x 64gb white iphone5s, had a text to say that the order went though and will be delivered on the 17th SEPT!!

They won't be able to offer you any deals. I had a friend who was with Orange for years and years and had built up quite a bit of discount, but when he wanted to move to the iPhone 4 they could not apply any of his discounts. They actually told him that people had tried the same and they had lost a lot of customers due to it. He moved to Three after I persuaded him.
Three have by far the best and biggest 3G network in the UK and they have really invested in their network over the past few years. They just done a massive upgrade to my local mast and now my speeds are amazing!
We have seen screenshots, and buyer reports on here, of text on the UK apple site clearly stating that an adaptor is included with the phone. US users report not seeing the same text, hence the uncertainty.
I guess we won't know for sure until the boxes arrive, but the evidence so far seems clear. Saying that, it's possible that the screenshot is faked and/or the adaptor is only available with certain configurations.
EDIT: Seeing the posts above it seems like it was a mistake. Ho hum! I'm still crossing my fingers...
I called the Liverpool St store which does have them in stock. They are uncertain whether they will charge me the £5.11 though.
I know it's <1% of the price of the iPhone I ordered this morning, but the principle hurts.
Just phoned Orange again....they still have no info on NANO Sim's........their advice was to call next week when the phone is actually out.....i said "do you think it's worth trying again monday/tuesday in case as other carriers have them already"......he said yes of course things may change but they have no info on this yet, thats all

It's not a fake, as Apple have admitted it was an error.
Apple should now do the decent thing.
- Admit their error in an official statement.
- Honour everyone that got in before a certain time (i.e when they realised their error + 2 hours, or maybe even all day today as a goodwill gesture).
For those that have already swapped their 3 sims to nano sims are any of you on PAYG rather than contact? I was going to head to a store later today but one of their tweets seems to indicate they won't have any stock of PAYG sims until Tuesday.

It was doing that to me, but every so often it comes back on. It is slow mind, probably because everyone seems to be moving to them.
When you choose an iPhone and tariff it's showing a popup saying they are experiencing high demand and to either call them or pop into your local store.
iphoned 3 and they are only giving SIM's away to people signing up on SIM only deal, minimum rolling contract 1 month......but for £12.90 a month for unlimited internet, 200 mins, 5000 texts, sign me up!

The One Plan includes tethering at no extra cost.
Pre-ordered iPhone 5 32GB Black at my local Three store and picked up a nano-sim and adaptor free of charge. My nano sim has already activated, therefore have swapped it out for my micro-sim. Three said they will be taking pre-orders all day and will guarantee everyone an iPhone next Friday. Last year I picked up my 4S around lunch time on launch day....therefore no queuing necessary!
It is worth noting that The One Plan will give you free unlimited tethering (comes in handy a lot)
