For any Vodafone customers looking for nano sims, use the live chat option!

Just ordered 2 nano sims from Vodafone live chat. The first person may not help, but don't give up with the one advisor, keep going!

The guy I spoke to was Aditya, did it for both contracts in a matter of minutes. Already received texts confirming the order.

To access live chat, go to contact us and use the online enquiry form to fill in your details. A pop up for live chat should activate immediately. If it does not, try another browser.

Hope that helps. :)

My sim scenario is a little different to most. The sim I have is company provided and should be for a blackberry. I cut this standard size sim down to micro size with no issues.

So my question is this - can a TRADITIONAL size sim be made into a MICRO sim??
( I won't get one from my company)
Thanks for any assistance.

But you've already done it?

Just tried Vodafone via the live chat. Very strange conversation, at the end of it the advisor said that I was unable to order a nano sim via the live chat facility but that I should call 191. Called 191 and a really friendly advisor said yet no problem I have placed the order.

I have the same status on my 32GB white order but they haven't taken payment from my HSBC debt card yet. Is it the same for you guys?

Apple took the money from my Debit Card account within 30 second, it was so fast.

I think sometimes they test your account to see if you're good for the money and then take it out once they ship. Sometimes they take the whole lot in one go as soon as you order, I think it's different depending on who you bank with.

Mine is Barclays Cash Account with a Visa Debit Card. It's not a current account at all.

Weird how random it is right? Three customers seem to have a system in place at least.

Keep trying, an advisor will help in the end.

Asking on the phone might help too, see the above post. Like i said, don't give up!

I pre-ordered my iPhone 5 this morning from O2...

Now I need to get rid of my iPhone 4S 32GB. What's the general consensus as to the best way to sell?

Mazuma is offering £240 (I know I can get slightly better prices at other sites but I've dealt with Mazuma before and trust them). I'm really tempted with Mazuma because it's quick and hassle-free...

Will I get a better price from eBay? I haven't used it in years and it seems very commercial these days - and the extra effort puts me off.. but if it's worth it I could go down that route...

If you live in Surrey I'll come to your house and pay you £240 cash :p Seriously you could definitely get £300 at least, probably around the £340 mark on eBay if you wanted though.

Does it come with an adapter so we can use our old phone in the meantime?

Got my Nano Sim from Three earlier, they tried telling me Apple are sold out and Apple stores won't have stock on Friday! They said don't worry order a contract one from us!

I took my sim and went to the Apple store in the same shopping centre to let them know what Three are saying.

Also they gave me an adaptor to use it in my iPhone 4S for now.

apple will have them on friday, they cant start selling iphone 5's and then tell customers you cant use it until you find a nano-sim. Apple supplied micro-sims when the ip4 came out

ok, so I ordered the wrong phone when upgrading online with o2 last night! 32gb 4s instead of 5 (got too excited). They tell me they've cancelled it and to reorder but that this can take 24hrs to show on my account.

Anyone else stupid enough to have done this?! Will I miss the boat on the 5's?!

Aaaagghhhh!

Three were saying Apple stores won't have iPhone 5's not sims!

This morning I have been in to my local 3 store.
Have signed the contract and passed the credit check and pre-ordered my 32Gb black for pick up on Friday.
Also, i've given them a time of midday for me to pick it up. They will hold it for me until then so I don't have to get up early.

Sounds good to me.

Ebay is fine if you're careful. I sold my iPad 1 this week for a good price, but had to decline and offer of £350 from Nigeria and I had to cancel bids from a zero feedback account from Russia (I had said UK only). Actually, that doesn't make it sound great, does it?!:D It's still my preferred option for selling.

Those who have ordered a contract + iphone with Orange, What does their order say when you track it?

Mine says "order being readied for despatch" I phoned earlier but they advised that its just a first come first serve basis and the phone could be delivered up to 30 days after 21st September!

Paul

Yep i belive so, ive read a few otehrs on here have had the same thing .. it reads -

"thanks for your order of the new iPhone 5. I need to make you aware how this is going to work.

well aim to get your phone to you within 30 days of launch" and so on

Thanks mate, I have an order with the Apple store too, so will decide which to cancel first whilst I make my mind up. Thanks for the update.

Had no luck with so many advisors now but this was funny/concerning...

You: Can atleast you give me any information on when DC-HSPDA will be availiable
Albert: I am sorry but what do you mean by DC - HSPDA ?
You: Sorry DC-HSDPA
Albert: I am sorry but could you please elaborate that as what it is ?
You: I thought you were a 'specialist'?

I ordered mine at 8:43 and I'm in the exact same boat. Same status, and all reps have a blanket statement "within 30 days".
