Hmmmm..... I ordered mine from CPW last friday at about 6pm. Phone arrived at about 9.30am the next morning (saturday). No extra payment required.

They're telling me that the free Saturday delivery was a special for the launch weekend. They say if my order doesn't "appear" in their system I've still got till about 8:00 tonight to place a new order for delivery tomorrow, but that's kind of assuming they've got any stock left by then...

Actually in one way that's not good news - those of us who ordered from Apple but are now trying to order through CPW and other outlets will no longer be able to cancel our original Apple orders, but will have to go out of our way to return them.

Mine's a grey 32GB so it might be a little ahead of the Gold if they're struggling to ramp up to meet demand. Don't lose faith!

7th - 10th October delivery thread. Austrailians reporting their orders have shipped. Well, I think it's a mix of preparing to ship and shipped. But definitely further along than the ominous 'processing'.

Do you know how many 32gb grey they had left when you were there?

Not sure. But my sense was they had a "decent amount".

This was three hours after the store had opened and the guy who helped me was pretty chill about heading off to grab me a phone.
