I ordered just before midnight on the app, so I'm guessing they are not going in order sequence. I'm hoping it means they are updating orders as each pallet is received into a warehouse (which might even be in the UK) and would not necessarily be in any particular order, but would mean everyone's status should update fairly soon. That's what I remember happening from previous pre-order launches.

My 64 GB Silver is still processing, not too happy. Store had 32 and 64 grey today, but I want the silver one. The queue was very short by the time the store opened, the interest is dropping. People are not queuing every day, it is wearing off.

They are shipping 16GB Gold but not 64GB Gold - they make far more profit from the 64GB version - come on Apple!

My 32GB Grey (confirmation dated 19th Sept I was so early) is still processing but the £629 has been zapped from my credit card and it was not there this morning........

My 16GB Gold has changed too. Got my confirmation email at 00:03, just case in case someone wants to find a pattern here haha.

I suspect that the back-office systems are based in the US and so that's why the confirmation is dated 19th Sept. I know that I ordered a few minutes after midnight as I was annoyed that the online store was still offline past 00:01

Hmm before my available balance was £709 less then my balance - however now it's the same (the money hasn't been taken out) - I am now worried I swear if it's been declined or something I will kill someone :p

On debit card - 64GB Gold

If you phone up your bank or have online banking they'll be able to tell you if it's been cancelled/declined etc.

Apple make a "hold" on the funds on your card when you order just to check they money is there. This effectively stops you spending the money, but it's still in your account until Apple or whoever claim it However, unless a "hold" is claimed with 3 days, your bank/credit card co release the funds (make them available to you again). Apple then normally take the money in a new transaction at the same time they actually ship the phone.

So nothing to worry about, same happens to everyone every launch :)

How do you find out via online banking, I don't fancy listening to twiddly music while on hold for ages :p - If it gets declined would it show up on Apple's order site?

I would imagine my bank knows that I make random impulse buys all the time so they should be used to it :p

Arndale, manchester have got some space grey 32 & 64 ones left, spoke to them about half an hour ago!

Ok good most launches I have taken part in result in quick dispatching so never noticed (I always order iPhone's via a carrier until this time)
