UK iPhone 5s and 5c Thread

Silver 16GB, ordered 11:59 on the 19th, and still processing. :(

Seriously close to just ordering a 32GB grey on CPW and just seeing what comes good first.
 
My 16GB gold 5s has also changed to preparing to dispatch. Ordered mine at around 00:08 on the 20th! I was going to check out my local stores for stock today but glad I waited now. It looks like we may get them early after all :)
 
Never noticed this until now, but my delivery date is actually 'Delivery: 08 Oct, 2013 - 11 Oct, 2013', has anyone else with this date instead of 7th-10th, had their order updated to 'preparing for dispatch' yet??

Ordered mine at 12.05, however between Barclays and Apple my order didn't turn to processing till Monday 23rd.

So mine won't be here before christmas.

When I spoke to them at 11am they thought they would sell out within the hour so I didn't bother going in... :mad:

Anyway, my online order now shows :D:

I was getting worried when people who ordered after me (00:02) had theirs change but mine wasn't


Now, does this mean Monday delivery?

Doesn't look like it yet from what people have been posting as nobody has said they have had theirs change yet. Hopefully its just because of however they are putting things together for shipment.

You forgot the bit where other companies are being supplied with phones ahead of their own customers.

The majority of people aren't annoyed about having to wait - just that they're having to wait *while people who didn't order immediately have received their phones*. The people who wait in line- that's their prerogative. Apple have never held off stock to the first online orders. There has been a change in policy here.

I think we'd been slightly more appeased if Apple employees were just using basic common sense rather than repeatedly giving tickets to people with a knowing nod (as per the Stratford story earlier). The "2 only" policy shouldn't just be for stopping scalpers, it's just basic fairness. If I stand in a line, I'm going to be mighty pissed off if there's no more because someone has bought 5 phones, irrespective of whether he's selling them on or just handing them out to his friends and family.
 
Has anyone with a 16GB silver or gold been moved to preparing to dispatch yet?? I ordered a silver at 00.01 and the gold at 00.12 and both are stuck at processing :(

I think Monday would be too optimistic as they have to actually dispatch yet. The US orders seem to change from "Preparing" to "Dispatched" within 24hrs, but it has taken days in the past...

Silver 16GB ordered at 11:59, and nothing happening yet here either..........
 
iPhone SG 5s - UK order 00:06 20th Sep changed to Preparing for Dispatch :)

About blinking time too ! Apple were a few hours from feeling my wrath !!
