My first posting, but I've been following this thread with interest. I just bought a 5S space grey 64gb at a Carphone Warehouse in Kensington, London. The CPW site shows stock levels at the various stores. Quite painless. 02 apparently does free unlocking according to this article, so hopefully all will be ok.

I'm currently at Westfield shepherd's bush and they have all space grey versions available right now
Yeah distance selling regulations allow you to return it if unused.

I just rang CPW to do the same with the 32GB grey.
I was told they are out of stock but might get some next week.
Think I was lied to, because he also said, that the Gold colour option doesn't officially get released till 4th October, LOL.
Back to the waiting game now...
I am glad to see some movement on my Space Grey iPhone 5S 16gb order. Although slightly irritated that I didn't catch the train to Birmingham now that there has been confirmation of some stock in Space Grey, as was my original intention when I finished work at 1300.
Do you know how many 16GB Space Grey models they have left?
How big is the queue at Brent Cross?Did they give you an idea of their stock levels?
Hopefully some left this evening - doubtful I know.
Disappointed they have delivered today, because less likely they will deliver over the weekend. It'll be very frustrating if they don't deliver tomorrow. Surely Apple realise that there is only a minority of genuine customers coming on weekdays, as a lot of us can't get time of work. All they are doing is giving more supply to the scalpers, I can't believe it's so bad in the UK
