And click edit attachment at the bottom above submit. p.s I'm on iPod touch ;)

Thanks for that! And the batch could be here tommorow, ups can like I said earlier do amazing things, do while we sleep our phones could be speeding at 500mph towards us! I'm really looking forward to seeing if they go to World Port

----------

I agree check out the planned departures on the right!

There are loads going to World Port, so that looks like we're we are going! Wooop!

Looking at the tracking list, I dont think your phone has gone from Hong Kong to Germany and back. It looks like once it arrived in Hong Kong at 0015hrs it waited their until UPS in Germany has done some paperwork for the shipment. Then it has left Hong Kong and headed to Alaska. Because there is no departure scan from HK and no arrival scan in Germany. Anyway hope you get your iPhone soon :)

You think Apple Stores will get stock tomorrow?

I called Touchwood Solihull today, and was told they got no delivery. Im hoping they will tomorrow, but it takes me an hour to get there so it will be a very disappointing journey back if they dont :(

No idea. And the staff at the stores certainly aren't giving anything away around whether they might be anticipating a delivery!

Planning to head down to Regent Street around 8.30. I know people have said you need to be there at 6.30 to be sure of getting one if there is a delivery, but can't face hanging around for 2 hours only to find nothing has turned up so I'll just take my chances.

Will post on here what the situation is when I get down there.

Looks like 32GB & 64GB silver and grey are both in stock at present.

Direct link and tick the box for 32GB and colour and it shows stock with delivery on Thursday 3rd for PAYG. Priced £629.

Thanks for this - going to give it a try and see if I can finally get a 32GB Silver. Had to buy £10 SIM but still better than CPWs profiteering.

i've been to about 5 '3' Stores on the high street and all flatly refused to sell me anything, even a 64GB model that they say they have in stock. I was told by two stores that they won't be selling PAYG models until the the end of the year.

Aside from this, my attempts to buy a 5S have been blocked at every attempt. From arriving outside Apple Stores with too big a queue in front to get a ticket or getting at the front when they have no stock, to ordering from CPW last week who completely 'lost' my order for a 64GB Silver.

Even going into CPW stores and showing them I'd made an order didn't yield any change in the usual "no stock for SIM-free sales". So they were uninterested in making a £709 sale but were utterly unbothered that a customer order had failed on their side by not going through to the processing department apparently, and were not prepared to do anything at all other than tell me to call the online helpline again - these chaps kept me on hold for 30 mins and then told me to call back the next day to see if the order would be re-instated. Customer service at it's best!

I would have ordered from Apple online on the 20th but was expecting to be out of the country from 28th so couldn't risk it not arriving. Then I had to delay the trip for two weeks meaning I could have ordered originally but now the time gap is too short before I definitely will go :(

All-in-all everything has conspired against me it seems. Still, let's see if 3 can redeem themselves and I can get it unlocked by next week.

Just thought I'd leave everyone with this before I go to bed!

04.10 and still prep for dispatch on 2/10/13 hope it's right about ups still working over Chinese holiday with 5S. Hope for some change soon

Do UPS deliver weekends? Mines stuck on preparing to dispatch, guessing it'll be Monday at the earliest if they don't.

Im hoping those of us ,who are still on 'preparing for dispatch', get on a ups flight to the us today so we can get our phones by the end of the week

It's a 3 day national holiday in china.

Let's hope those in the supply chain don't follow some other industries and make it week-long and then work back the extra two days in the future.

Am dealing with some people in China who began the holiday on Monday 30th and don't return to action until Monday 7th.

At least this is the last big holiday until the Spring Festival (Lunar New Year) at the end of January. Should have the iPhone backlog sorted by then.

Guess the iPad Mini Retina will be the one to be in short supply next. :D

Be awesome if you could let us know what the situation is.

I think i will have to leave home for about 8 to get there at 9:00. Its only a small store, so IF they do have any shouldnt be too much of a queue. The store opens at 08:30 I think for Genius Bar Appointments, so they should be able to tell us whether they have had a delivery or not :/

Anybody know what time they approx get their deliveries? I dont want to be told no stock at 09:00 for them only to then get a delivery at 09:10 :D as being them, i cant envision them going out of their way to tell me that they actually havnt had their delivery yet :p

Well, my mouse hovered over the 'Cancel' button at one point, but I resisted, and delivery day is here :) Stansted Departure scan 06:04 !

Just noticed this tweet of some gal off Twitter:

The que outside Apple Regent street is looking insane

:eek::eek::eek:

Our phones should be dispatched regardless of holidays after all apple have quoted us 7-10 business days. Today is the 9th. Surely we don't have to take other holidays into account for business days, otherwise no day would be class as a business day.

My 5s was delivered yesterday , 32GB space grey.

Not very happy with it though.

would be interested to see what others think.

The sound near the lock button is probably the camera, which is normal with all iPhones. It's one of the 5 camera lens that moves to help focus. Test this by opening the camera app, lock focus on something, this should make the rattle stop. If not, it may be that the lock button is a bit loose, and you'll have to decide if this is enought to return it.

The home button has changed with the iPhone 5s, a lot of reviews have mentioned it. So I don't think it being more clicky is necessarily a fault, it's probably normal and just takes some getting used to.

My 3.5 year old iPhone 4 has the same rattle. I never noticed it before you mentioned it!

UPS 5X3 left Hong Kong stopped at Dubai and continued on to cologne, well I thought it did? How can I send a screenshot? Sorry I'm being a newbie at a critical moment! ;) haha

lol you were wrong. the phones went to USA and then Koeln, Germany. and they are resting there.
