I managed an order about 8pm last night for a PAYG iPhone 5S Silver 32. Turned up this morning. Yes, I paid an extra £50 on top.

From what I can see they have pulled PAYG 5S's and their current stock is available for contract only.

How come they don't mention the extra £50 on the site?

Given up on Apple order and ordered on CPW for in store pickup.

Ordered today, could any of you successful CPW people give me any idea of when it is likely to get there?

Plus do I get three pay as you go to unlock then unlock on line?

Yeah, good point, and I immediately thought cheeky b*ggers when the subtotal appeared. I guess they are making their money somehow.

Incidentally, I also tried calling them to ask why my second order was rejected (same card holder, address etc), and ended up listening to ColdPlay for 25 minutes before my call was abruptly disconnected. 0870 number for maximum revenue generation on the back of the 'amazing new iPhone'.

When you click the buy button the price shown includes the extra £50.

Only on Silver/Gold.

Grey are £629 for 32gb, as apple.

Apparently it's "due to demand" when I asked. So, profiteering effectively.

I've ordered a 32gb Space Grey for delivery to my local store and paid £629.

The procedure has been mentioned a few times previously, it's along the lines of buy the phone, get the PAYG sim and phone Three or complete the request form in their website. They then phone you to take payment and a day or 2 later the unlock is processed and connect to iTunes to unlock.

Finally got a label from UPS website while Apple Order status page still shows "Preparing for Dispatch" :)

UPS SUCK SO HARD !!

"Customer was not in on 1st attempt ..."

Why can't they just tell me when they will deliver ??? Someone is in from Midday FFS.

Noone will be in for all the times they deliver in the morning, so what happens now ? iPhone 5s gets returned to Apple ? The UPS Depot is 60 miles from my house :(

I agree. They suck!!!
It's been out for delivery for 2 days now. I'm still waiting!!!

It'll be held at the depot for you to collect or rearrange a delivery (which will again be sometime in the delivery day).

They have automatically changed my delivery day to tomorrow now. They will repeatedly miss, as they don't deliver on weekends. I cannot get to their depot. So I guess I just contact UPS, and get them to return to sender (in China)

Guys a tracking label has been created for mine. Does that mean it's been dispatched and is currently on a plane?

Anyone know what order time is being fulfilled, like what time we are up to yet?

I ordered an iphone on the 22nd.

I'm guessing we are still on 20th?

If so anyone know the latest time, so I can see where I am.

- This is via the apple store, uk.

Wait there's a holiday I thought nobody's phone would prepare for dispatch today?

The phones are being built in a Foxconn factory in Shenzhen where we can assume they may still be working through the holidays to build phones, the evidence of that is:

- It's a massive launch for Apple and they need stock created so would likely pay any additional fees to stay open during the holiday.

- Phones have gone from 'Processing' to 'Preparing for Dispatch' today, which obviously means they have been built and assigned, so people are working in the factory.

- UPS labels have been created for orders currently 'Preparing for Dispatch'. Note though that they can do that with UPS being closed for the holidays, so doesn't mean they will go.
