Will the UK applestore allow you to put a delivery address different from your billing address? I ideally want my 5S shipped to work.

If as expected the stocks of iphone 5s completely sell out at Apple stores on Friday, when are they likely to have more stock available?

I understand this probably can't be answered completely accurately but based on previous years could anyone provide details of likely scenarios?

Thanks.

Here are the threads from the previous two years which contain lots of posts discussing stock availability.

Hold your horses. That says iPhone 5, not 5S!

Those prices are shocking so expensive glad im going sim free phone with my £12.90 three monthly charge.

EE CHEAPEST £26 Monthly with only 500MB Data £624 for 24 Months + Upfront cost 64Gb Version £509.99
Total cost £1134.

Sim FREE From Apple 64Gb £709 + Three £12.90 Sim with unlimited data 24 months
Total Cost £1018 .

They are shocking! But they're iphone 5 prices, I'm hoping EE won't be that stingy when it comes to their 5S plans.

Have Voda, Three or O2 announced their 5S contract plans yet? If so has anyone got any links please. To lazy to search through 20 pages!

I posted screens of the 5s 16, 32 & 64GB 4G O2 refresh tariffs, think page 15 or 16

Cheers mate, just found it on their website too. Pricey to say the least! EE much the better option. I'm hoping Voda will be competitive... As for Three, why haven't they announced anything yet?!

What about selecting your network based on service and performance rather than solely on price?

I've tried them all, grabbed a PAYG sim from them all a year ago when I got my 5 and tried them all and three came out clearly on top. O2 great coverage but mostly 2G. 3G was next to non existent. Voda did fine but prices were just crazy and they seem to think 100mb data was enough.

Eventually three came out on top with 98% uk coverage 3G! All the others have higher coverage but not 3G.

I have pretty much a similar opinion to you, however I really want to move to 4G and think Three are missing the boat by launching so late on.

- been on O2, decent 2G but awful 3G, decent prices (which have recently been hiked for 4G)
- been on Giffgaff great prices, but a above, rubbish 3G
- Vodafone, never been with them but their 4G prices are very competitive with some decent incentives
- Three, great 3G signal, great plans and won't be beaten on price. But their like of 4G roll out and information on any future roll out let's them down huge
EE - by far the best 4G coverage and will have for the next few years. Prices are quite steep but you pay the premium for the service they provide.

I'm going to wait till Vodafone and Three announce their 24 month plans before committing to anything, but at the moment I'm edging towards EE.

Three are the best network by far, in my experience - excellent coverage and of course unlimited FAST data. They had the best prices for the 5 as well. Their 5C prices aren't looking great however, it looks like they've added £5 to them all to cover the "free" 4G upgrade

I'm on Three now, the slowest speed I get is 5mb, top speed 23mb on 3G. From what i've read some 4G speeds aren't getting that - I don't really feel they need to rush the 4G roll out, but when they do, I think they'll top all other networks.

Yep I'm currently on Three, but want 4G. EEs speeds after being doubled are second to none from what I've heard/read.

The lack of clarity from Three with regards to their 4G roll out, price plans and data allowance is off putting IMHO.

Out of interest, why do you need >10mb you get on 3G?

I do think it's safe to assume unlimited allowance though, it's their thing now.

I'm probably sticking with Three, they have announced the cities they are rolling 4G out to next year - something that a lot of the other carriers haven't done, remember the % coverage that the networks will use is NOT geographical, its via population.

It does seem as though they have tacked more on to the monthly cost of their contracts with the 5C but they are charging £49 quid for the handset whether you get a 16GB or 32GB model - which is pushing the prices up.

I am hoping they don't do that for the 5s, but my experience with Three as far as coverage and speed goes with 3G I don't think I could go back to O2.

I disagree. The wording on their 'promise' is very clever. I'd put good money on it being capped with a premium for unlimited.

"Every Three customer with a 4G Ready device will get a 4G upgrade at no extra cost. It’ll be easy to switch over too, all that’s required is a simple software update. You won’t even need to go in to a store. There’ll be no new contract to sign, no new SIM and no tariff change. We really want this transition to be as easy as possible for our customers.

Not only that, but our famous All You Can Eat data offering will still be available on 4G. So you’ll be able to share even more, ponies, pugs and kittens. Which can only be a good thing, right?"

Looking like a massive dud this iPhone 5s launch.... O2 going to have zero in-store stock on Friday according to site and staff and twitter.

No way am i queuing up for a chance to pre-order.
Dunno how other carriers are going to fair but O2 must be a fair representation of stock levels over the major 3.... Are sim-free buyers going to be the only ones to get on launch day?
