Same, but at least we will have ours. Spare a thought for the 'October' people who will be stuck at Processing for who knows how long.

Ordered Gold 16gb in the afternoon (12:45pm), still processing after almost two weeks now.

Just a question if a apple store receives a deliver in a afternoon do they sell the stock them or wait till the morning? Thanks
 
Any experiences about iPhone 5s at Apple Store's in London today? :rolleyes:

I am going to London this Friday, and I am staying until Tuesday next week. How early in the morning should I be outside the Apple Store at Covent Garden to even have a fair chance of getting one? Is 8.30 okay, you think?

I would preferably have a silver or a gold one, in 32GB. 16GB is okay too.
 
iPhone is still in Koeln. and it is a holiday in Germany on 3rd October. COME ON. i want my iPhone right now.

From the posts this morning, there was next to no stock and long queues at some of the London stores.
 
There are two ups flights landing in the UK shortly one at stansted and one at East Midlands....both from the states...but I wonderrrrrrrrr!

Uh oh. Got me worried now. Thanks for the heads-up though. I'll give it a once over ASAP. At least that is something I can take straight to Apple rather than Three though. Trying to avoid Three from now on.

there is nothing from germany. i assume our iPhones are stuck there coz there is a holiday tomorrow in germany.

If it doesn't arrive or goes mysteriously missing akin to CPW's system, I might give that line a whirl. To be honest, although Silver is my first choice (not interested in Gold/urine at all!) I wouldn't be bothered about Space Grey as I just want a phone - since selling my 4S just before the announcement, I've been stuck with an ancient Samsung and a Nexus 4 to tide me over but they don't cut it!

Sounds like you found a good bunch of in-store workers and a manager always helps. Much less amenable round these parts :rolleyes:

Ah, yeah the store I went to had absolutely no stock of silver or gold. The silver is nice, but I've spent a year with a white phone (S3) and have always wished I could have got a black one - not available at the time I got this.

Nexus are good, but not quite as refined as an iPhone. Same goes for Android. They are definitely worth keeping an eye on though, constantly improving and - dare I say it - innovating.

Best of luck with your delivery tomorrow - out of order to not deliver when they confidently take your money and give you a specific date. Definitely some leverage for a good old phone rant to "their supervisor" for some free goodies if it doesn't turn up!

It might be that our phones never went to Germany, the tracking can be suspect at the best of times.....

As for the holiday UPS have a unique service agreement with Apple so don't worry about that !

the phones stayed in China coz of 1st October holiday in China. and yes you are right tracking has been a pain in ass. they show up in hongkong and at once they show up in shenzhen again!

You know i thought this, maybe the import scan just signifies paperwork, because there was no Arrival Scan? Possibly they are just preparing papers for entry into Europe? Hmmmmmmm I think because the phones are in such a large shipment the tracking is a little crazy, it will probably be more reliable when they break the consignment into single packages fro delivery
