Import Scan
This scan is an electronic record indicating the shipment has cleared import procedures in the receiving country.
In other words the phone hasn't got to bl**dy Germany yet!
So who's upgrading to 4G for their new 5s and what operator/tariff are you going with?
O2, EE and VF all seem to be charging £10-20 extra per month to comparable 3G tariffs and Three are saying there will be no premium for 4G.
Might go on a 30-day contract SIM from O2 just to see what 4G can do and then decide in December when Three's 4G goes live (in 3-4 places in UK at least).

I'm currently with O2 on a Simplicity 20 for iPhone plan. It's a rolling contract which I've been on for what, maybe three years now?
It's £21.07 a month for 600 minutes, 1200 texts and unlimited data, a plan which no longer exists anymore.
For just under an extra £4 a month I could have the new 4G Simplicity plan which includes unlimited calls and texts, but the data drops to 1GB.
I'm undecided at the moment as I believe 4G will only be of any use in a city like London. When I got outside of London there are still many places such as where my folks live that I can barely even get Edge, let alone 3G, so in many aspects it seems pointless.
With unlimited data being quite hard to come by these days, at least for cheap, it seems a shame to give that up. But that said, I probably end up using WiFi connections enough that I doubt I'd ever really drift into using 1GB of data anyway.
I also feel that 4G will probably get competitive between the networks as I think most people won't see the benefits to want to switch. However they may do this more with the phones they subsidise on contracts.
Is this good or bad?
I didn't think O2 offered 30 day contracts on 4G yet?
Not great...but I've worked it out!
Are phones were scanned in spat anchorage but then departed for Louisville for shipping (I found the corresponding flight) now I'm trying to find a flight from Louisville to cologne and that should tell us when to expect movement
I THINK!

Its a really long shot i know but what about this? http://uk.flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS237 Dont laugh I'm desperate! 😀
I have a question and anyone's help is much appreciated.
I ordered a 32GB Gold on saturday 21st September and I'm not surprised that its still stuck at processing so i've decided to buy one online from CPW, this time i'm gonna go for the 64GB. It says expected delivery 9th October, would it be best to deliver to store or to my house (in terms of which one is quicker?)
i'll keep it locked to EE for 6 months (recently switched from o2 cos i got a really good special 4G plan) then pay £20 to unlock it if i need to.
thanks!
p.s- will CPW do the 14 day return incase my apple one arrives first? i wont cancel apple till the CPW arrives or vice versa
I just found out that this flight originated in Louisville! So that would tie in with your theory!
----------
Or this flight: http://uk.flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS203 its destined for Germany (this would link with the import scan) and originated in Louisville (that would tie in with your theory)
I got one from them last week - ordered it online at 8.30 pm on Sept 23rd and it arrived at 12.30 the next day - 16 hours in total.
It is a 64GB Space Grey and I paid the normal Apple price for it (£709)
Now locked to O2 but not a problem for me as I intend to stay with O2 anyway.
My money is on this one mate, how do you know it originated in Louisville

Ah, yeah the store I went to had absolutely no stock of silver or gold. The silver is nice, but I've spent a year with a white phone (S3) and have always wished I could have got a black one - not available at the time I got this.
Nexus are good, but not quite as refined as an iPhone. Same goes for Android. They are definitely worth keeping an eye on though, constantly improving and - dare I say it - innovating.
Best of luck with your delivery tomorrow - out of order to not deliver when they confidently take your money and give you a specific date. Definitely some leverage for a good old phone rant to "their supervisor" for some free goodies if it doesn't turn up!
