Wk 39 build 64gb space grey the gyro seems to be spot on (or the surfaces I'm testing on are not level and phones gyro is out)
 
Ordered a iPhone 5s 32GB Gold on 23 September but I'm still stuck on "Processing Items - Dispatched: October" :( I hate this meaningless status...give me an expected date guys.
 
No, the UK store went live at 00:00 on the 20th. If you were on the App you could order from 23:55 on the 19th.

I tried to order at midnight but the page wasn't loading/proceeding to express checkout, I have 50meg fibre optic internet so that wasn't the problem.
 
Hi I received my 32GB space grey today from carphone warehouse. Now as it locks to the first sim used would I still be able to use both a giff gaff sim and an o2 Sim as they both run on the o2 network?
 
Not a fan of the touch sensor to be honest, and if you do it right, that sapphire home button can scrape your nail, its sharp!

To anyone who had had their broken 5S picked up by apple, how long does it take the courier company to phone you. They didnt phone me all day and it's a bit annoying
 
Seriously considering ordering a sim free 16GB Gold from CPW instead of hanging on to my online order with apple that's been processing since the 21st. Especially since CPW are expecting them to be delivered by the 16th (far better than apple at this rate in my opinion!) Has anyone had any success in getting the £50 premium they charge on the Gold refunded?

Same here. You got an accessory with it and chose fewest deliveries etc so it goes to an Apple Distribution Centre, and the tracking number is given when it leaves.
 
At last! My Gold 64Gb 5s, ordered at 10:30am on 20th Sept has finally moved onto 'Preparing for Despatch'... Only another week or so to delivery, perhaps.

No one calls you. They just turn up, drop off the phone and pickup the broken one.

Are you getting a warranty replacement through AppleCare or an online store replacement? If the latter that's the same situation as me - I received an email from TNT to arrange pickup of the phone and they also called though I wasn't able to answer at the time. I will be arranging for them to pick it up once the new one is delivered. Can you see a replacement on the order status page?

They implied It wouldn't get posted till I sent mine back but no one has phoned or emailed me.
The phone is there with a ridiculous and frustrating wait time 18-22 October. They said to me 5 days. Not very happy at all.

In the past I have always got through to very friendly American help lines. This time they could barely speak English and had to repeat my problem to 3 separate people, and it took an entire hour to sort out. And they were very unfriendly. Worst apple service I've had in the last 10 years (10 iPhones, 4 macs, 3 iPads, 5 iPods....)

That's weird, UK support calls usually go through to their call centre in Ireland.

you'll probably get the call tomorrow as it seems your replacement didn't get processed till today.

Don't get me wrong my mums not from this country and doesn't speak English well, and I wouldn't want her to be a customer services rep. I can't believe I had to repeat the same run through to 3 people, suggesting the same solutions to me despite the fact I already explained I had tried them all.
