Anyone that's ever gone and queued at an Apple Store early (like 3:30am), do people in the line sleep. I'd be worried in case someone stole my wallet or something. Or are people generally really good at looking out for people? Also if you go to the toilet, do you lose your place?
Will be EXTREMELY disappointed in Apple if there's little to no stock available tomorrow. I'm going to my local Voda shop to upgrade and I've held out for a while after being asked if I wanna jump to S4/Lumia. S4 was a bloody no go but Lumia was tempting - hate to see Apple try and diffuse the blame by keeping everyone in the dark.
History has shown that Apple prioritises their own retail stores before those of resellers or the phone networks, so Apple is your best bet if you want one tomorrow.
Ordered a 64gb Black at 0000 like many, saying 7-10 Oct.
My local Apple store is Manchester Arndale. I get away from work at 1020, what chance do you reckon there is they'll have any 64gb blacks left at that time? Slim to none I suppose, the only reason I'm considering having a stab is that the 64gb option is typically the last to tell sell out, hmm.

I remember that only 10% of iPhone sales were 64gb so there might be a chance that there are some remaining.
So do we think Apple stores have stock of the 5S today? I'm wide awake now so seriously considering heading down to the store if it means I'll walk away with one today.

Nice! I was gearing up to order from three until I heard the prices. Have now ordered from Apple and will go for a three sim only deal.

They certainly have a fairly large stock compared to operators but I have a feeling it they may be sold out quite quickly. I would actually be happy to wait at a store if they would just hurry up and build the Edinburgh one.
Did my research yesterday to get a new iPhone in NW London. Looks like a good bet is to head to Brent Cross. I'm doing an upgrade so Carphone Warehouse will be where I'm heading. Apparently good stock levels if you're there early, they do all the networks and will be offering the most competitive offers. Plus they are planning a ticketing system to guarantee your chosen product. I would really hate to wait for hours with no guarantee of getting what I want it's happened to me before. I'm not doing that again. So I will be driving down shortly after a bacon earnie and cuppa tea!

i dont understand one thing. i ordered on 19th September. it says dispatched in 7-10 business days. and the delivery dates are being given of 7-10 October. howcome 7-10 days leads to 7-10 october :S

i am hearing apple stores dont have enough stock. Tim cook should have given the launch date of 6th october with some nice stock in hand.
That's why I'm heading to Carphone Warehouse at the shopping Centre. They do all the networks and have good stock apparently plus I'm not interested in sim free. So not stuck with queuing for the Apple Store

I'm at the Lakeside store. Still just over 2 hours to go and there's hundreds of people here!
The online store is still showing 7-10 days for all the 5S models. I would have thought that might have pushed back abit by now? I had been hoping that by getting my order in straight away that it might get through quicker, but now I'm not so sure.
My original midnight-order got cancelled...don't know why.
My newly placed order (1 hour ago) shows delivery 8 Oct - 11 Oct - compared to 7 - 10 Oct for the midnight orders.
