Gold online date slipped

First to go - now showing 'dispatched October' - could be the END of next month even for dispatch!

Gold 5s shipping time has gone now to 'dispatched October' others still 7-10 business days.

My original midnight-order got cancelled...don't know why.
My newly placed order (1 hour ago) shows delivery 8 Oct - 11 Oct - compared to 7 - 10 Oct for the midnight orders.

Processing Items Dispatched: 7- 10 business days
Delivery: 08 Oct, 2013 - 11 Oct, 2013 by Standard Shipping

iPhone 5s 64GB space grey

Noticed the same thing for me... cancelled, without notification. Could it be automatic cancelling of Borderlinx orders perhaps?

I've sent my parents to the Plymouth Vodafone store, and they are number 3 in the line and only got there at 7am! The store told me they will be getting stock, so fingers crossed.

Could be - I used Borderlinx as address.
My 2nd order placed 2 hours ago is still "Processing"....
Borderlinx ...."UNIT 7".... got cancelled.
Used "UNIT 1" in my 2nd order which was proposed by Apple's address verification system.

Around 100 people in the Norwich Apple Store, we've just been told they ran out of the Gold 16G at the front of the queue... Not a lot of those it seems, hopefully Space Gray 32 won't sell out before my turn...

Just to clarify what is a Borderlinx address?

Black seems to be in quite a large supply so I wouldn't worry.

Three Just announced their prices. Glad I bought direct.

64Gb model:

on contract for 24 months:

£51 per month, £99 upfront = £1,323

or via Apple direct on £15 ONE plan:

£15 per month, £709 upfront = £1,067

Same service, lower price!

Even cheaper with their £12.90 SIM only plan with unlimited data. As long as you don't need more than 200 mins/5000 texts the ONE plan isn't necessary :)

At Trafford Centre Manchester. I'd say about 400-500 queuing. Massive groups of non-English speaking Asians here buying as much as they can. Guess they'll be on eBay for £2000 in a few hours!

Anyway: only grey in stock now. Looks like all those in the queue will get a phone. Apple are giving tickets out. Got mine about 10 mins ago.

Limit of two normally, I'v checked ebay and the 16gb black is on average 700£.

Don't know of any forwarding service there. Borderlinx has worked flawlessly last two years. :)

That's fair enough, as the yanks say 'if it ain't broke don't fix it'.

Queued at Westfield London from 12am onwards, Gold sold out in first 2 minutes, hardly any stock. Silver followed suit 15mins later.

80% of the queue were scalpers/resellers. Disaster.

Hmm... just noticed something weird...

I ordered two phones. Order numbers are:
W4245xxxxx
W4965xxxxx

Did apple really have 72,000,000 orders in the space of 15 seconds??
No. Some time ago Apple changed the system so that order numbers are not sequential, to stop people working out how many orders they had taken and guessing at numbers sold.

Don't even bother thinking of checking the Liverpool Store if you weren't queueing from around 5am. 5S stock seems to be very low but no worries if you want a 5C. The Apple Guy who was ticketing said he had barely given out a single ticket for a 5C!

God knows when my online order at around 7:30 will turn up
