i phoned in this morning, they couldnt refund the £50 but said I could return my current 32GB for a refund and buy a new one at the lower price. just been in store (birmingham pallasades) and done that. Stupid way of doing business, even the guy in store though so but he couldn't override what the online people said.

Will call again and hopefully get a different person who gives me that option this time.

I can't seem to find the sim only option on the CPW website. It only shows me pay monthly and upgrade tariffs..

Apparently one of the westfield stores got stock today.

Based on this from bettercallsaul - I immediately popped into Stratford Westfield for my lunch.. Strolled up the the Apple store with everything crossed.

Yes, apparently they had roughly 150/200 delivered today but were out of stock by the time I got there.

Was also told that they get deliveries every day - to which I answered.. yes, they may well do, but doesn't mean iPhones included, does it?

Answer - no.

64GB Space Grey from CPW - unlock request sent to 3 - phone call an hour later to take details and unlocked first thing this morning. Didn't even need to attach it to itunes.

Now to cancel the apple order...

That's annoying as the Apple guy who walked up the queue at Regent Street this morning said that none of the London stores received any stock today and I even checked that they had received their deliveries but not phones and he said yes. There are now claims that both Westfield malls got stock. If true, perhaps Regent and Covent will get stock tomorrow and not the Westfields? Who knows?

Cancelled my Apple order and got my space grey on Three on pay and go from a retail store despite being told they were selling on contract only I went back in half hour later and walked out with the phone on pay and go. Now to get it unlocked.

Apple have been tweeking their terminology for online delivery. Now reported as:

Hasn't changed on my order, still says:

Processing Items * Dispatched: 7- 10 business days
Delivery: 07 Oct, 2013 - 10 Oct, 2013 by Standard Shipping

Unless its anything to do with there supposably being more Space Grey phones, so perhaps they might have some ready to ship earlier?

No, HSBC just rang me asking me to confirm if fraud was done on my card:eek:

I have a feeling I won't be getting it tomorrow!

I'm so angry!!!!!

Yeah I had the same thing with Natwest, but they cancelled my card before even talking to me, which was nice. I'm currently awaiting a replacement.

You should be ok. CPW can take orders up until 5pm for next day delivery so contact them and check everything has gone through.

I've ordered mine but not had a confirmation email as yet. I selected deliver to store but after I processed it, it said allow two working days for delivery. I'm hoping that's just a generic thing because I'll be annoyed if I had to wait until next week - I would've selected my home address otherwise. Mind you, will see if I can get a 32GB in an Apple store tomorrow as I don't really need the 64GB.

I just checked apple.com instead of apple.co.uk
when you check your order there it will say :
Available to ship: 7- 10 business days
Delivers: 07 Oct, 2013 - 10 Oct, 2013 by Standard Shipping

I get the "Available to ship" this message if I log in on the US site, but "Dispatched: 7- 10 business days" on the UK site.

Different delivery estimates too. Interestingly the website is using "Available to ship" for the vague October delivery. I ordered quite late at 3am on release day from a ferry in the channel.

Perhaps they are going to push back on deliveries.

Guys the terminology is different depending on whether you log in in the 'UK' online store or the 'US' store (in my experience). When i log in from the UK store it says 'Dispatched in' and when i log in from the US store it says 'Available to ship'...
Ah true. Looks like Apples location detector is a bit buggy. UK does say "Dispatched" - Sorry for not noticing

I think the westfields recieved two days in row. Yesterday the regents street one got a pretty big delivery so not sure when they might get another.
