I've just done the comparison with Vodafone (only provide I can use as the others don't provide signal where I live) and actually a contract for a 6+ space grey 128Gb works out £200 cheaper over two years for me opposed to buying it sim free and using the same plan but sim only...Not sure how you think that we are all being mugged off
My sim only deal is £12.90 a month for 200 mins 3000 texts and all you can eat data.....over 2 years thats £309.60.....add £699 for phone makes it £1008.60........I bet you cant find any carrier tarrif that will come near that......3 for example (same carrier as mine) were doing £57 a month £50 for the phone.......ie £1418 total......ridiculous.

Thats normal, often some people have their shipped from China individually (well labeled up in China and tracked via UPS). Others get theirs sent out on Wednesday or Thursday from those that have been shipped over to the UK in bulk - I think they normally use another courier for these otherwise UPS wouldn't be able to cope.
I must say, I'm really impressed at how well the in store reservation stock has held up. Hopefully it doesn't mean they've over booked on reservations and it all goes smoothly on the day.
I am surprised how some people who ordered early are getting theirs delivered so late... I ordered mine around 8:37am and mine is arriving on Friday... whats apple doing!!!
It's always possible that it would get shorter and I'm sure it has done in previous years. We will see when the profiles update with the serial number which week the preorder devices were assembled, I'm guessing any that say 3-4 weeks haven't been assembled yet.
Exactly the same as me! Cant see how some are preparing to ship today and then we have to wait 7 days? So a batch goes out now then a gap of a week before the next? Just pray that we see the date change!
Mine still says Processing. Ordered the Space Grey, 64gb, Plus at like 8:24 this morning. Says its to be delivered on the 19th but no movement yet.
