Preordered mine, iPhone 6+ 64GB! Dispatched: 3-4 weeks.

Does anyone know if this can change?
Yes it can, it can go up down. It all depends if there is a change in anticipated stock levels. Going by observations of many Apple product launches the initial guides are often rather conservative estimates and many people generally end up getting their product before the estimate. Of course that doesn't always happen though.

I guess I've been lucky. Either that or no ones else wants my config of iPhone 6. I tried to order straight away from 8am, through Apple Store App on both iPad and iPhone. Finally got order through at 9.43!

At about 2pm the status moved to Preparing for Dispatch Delivery: 19/9 in most areas by Standard Shipping.

iPhone 6 16GB Silver.

Exactly the same as me! Cant see how some are preparing to ship today and then we have to wait 7 days? So a batch goes out now then a gap of a week before the next? Just pray that we see the date change! :D

Honestly think we will. I'm sure I've read in previous years releases that peoples dates have slipped forward. Probably just wishful thinking though.

I'm getting Virgin Media's £18 per month unlimited data deal, I have no idea if they allow tethering, but I hope. An iPhone 6 Plus and unlimited data seems like the best combination. *_*

Be careful, its not actually unlimited (well it is but not how you expect). Once you use 3.5GB in a month they reduce your speed until the next month. Tethering is also not allowed in the terms and conditions.

But once you leave the shop that's it, no option to return unless its faulty.

Whereas if you buy online you can obtain several replacements. Back in the day when blacklight bleeding was a big problem in the early MacBook Pro's I had 3 replacements before the bleeding was acceptable. Apple customer service were fantastic over the phone, even agreeing with me that it wasn't acceptable.

I managed to get a 64GB Silver Non-Plus for delivery on 19th. Tracking page is also down for me too.

Can I not return the phone within the two week return period?

They also use EE's network which from my experience is awful.

Last year the early batches stayed at Cologne for 1-2days then overnight Thursday to East midlands for Friday morning deliveries

It means nothing though. For all we know launch day iPhones are already in the country, the first batch arrived in the USA late last week. Also Apple will using more than just 1 shipping partner, and planes often have code share agreements with other airlines.

"For all we know "was a carpenters song and going on your "for all we know" theory a Carpenter might be making our phones right here in this country in a Chinese Takeaway at the corner of our streets LOL.Im just going on what happened the last 3 years I've tracked my phones along with others on this forum,

Oh okay, I read the terms of conditions, where does it say about the slow down though? Curious because my mum is going with them too. Tethering not the biggest upset since the only other portable device I have that I would use out of the house is my iPad, my iPhone is going to have a big enough screen anyway.

I went with Three in the end. iPhone 6 64gb - unlimited data, text and calls. £50/pm and £99 upfront. Estimated delivery Friday 19th.

Fair play to you, but does it really matter where in the world it is now? So long as next Friday it's with you that all that counts surely?

I guess I just don't give it a 2nd thought about it's current location. Apple goes through inventory every 5 days or so, so pretty much every item Apple sells this time next week is either being shipped or about to be shipped.
