UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

Not too bothered about pulling out when I need it to be honest. I have done it for years with previous and my current phone so no problem and to be honest I only use the wallet for work due to the work I do. When at home it's just the phone with the case on it.

I don't let others hold my phone hahahaha so no sliding but I know what you mean

This looks like a very good mixed case. Also tempted with the one with a plain back on it, but I like the rear guard and air cushion, and it still looks thin.

I see, I managed to get mine through iPad Safari "since nothing else worked... app/pc etc) 8:37am and deliver by Friday, as for the bank, I called them straight away once I finished the order to make sure they go through with the payment, although in the apple order section, my payment wasn't authorised the first time but I clicked the red msg and re-authorised it went through, nonetheless they bank "HSBC" called me up in the afternoon to check if the payment was made by me or was fraud withdraw, security reasons I suppose, I also called Apple once i was done with the call in the morning with the Bank, I had to wait almost an hr to get through and the line quality was awful, but they confirmed my order/payment and delivery day, so all good in the end.

+1 Looking for a sock or something I can slide the phone in and out of. Don't really want to cover up the iPhone when it's being used. I'm not sure if the current socks/pouches will fit the 6+ :|

I also had HSBC ring me up the next day (Saturday) to check whether the purchase was legitimate. Also told him that I might purchase another next Friday and he said it should go through.

Ah it was just bad luck in my case. I just want it before 14th October. Here's hoping :)

Interesting, mine was the same day "Friday" around 4pm.

Hmm! My brother went with finance and was accepted within an hour but still says awaiting payment. Tried ringing Apple but gave up after being on hold for a while. Hoping it doesn't effect it coming on the 19th.
 
I was lucky enough to sell my old gaming PC on the 11th... I was able to pay £700 outright for my iPhone 6+.

Seen a few on ebay not too expensive so ordered them, it's only for work any ways so not too fussed as long as the phone is protected.

Friendly community is always a good thing, feels like being part of small community family helping each other out to go through the pain of long wait for our gadgets to arrive hehehe :D

I've got a Beyzacase pouch on my IP5. It is good quality and has lasted well. It is also easy to remove the phone (without one of those tab pulls) as there is a gap at the bottom you can push the phone up through.

Do they do one for the 6 and would I be able to fit it in with a slim fit case on the phone?

Yep! I am looking forward to watching everyone getting theirs & feeling envious but it's great to be part of a friendly community. Team iphone lol
 
I may be wrong, or maybe Apple have changed the wording, but I'm 99% certain the other day my order status was 'preparing for dispatch'. I've just checked now and it's 'preparing for shipment' - effectively the same wording, but still!

Team iPhone hahaha great team, some of us might get theirs earlier but the community will be sticking together regardless :).

It changes depending whether you went through UK/US store to get to order status.

My order is with Phones4U and they have promised delivery on the 19th. However I've had very bad experiences in store with them in the past as they are extremely sales/commission focused and aren't afraid to lie/twist the truth. I've specifically said I didn't want insurance and been signed up for it anyway, and had my answers changed by the sales agent when I completed customer questionnaire.

However Phones4U were offering phone with no upfront cost instead of £130 direct from Vodafone and higher data allowance so I ordered with them, and this was after Three rang me back to saying I wouldn't get 6+ on release after all but Oct 3rd so my options for release date delivery were extremely limited!

They are still offering release date delivery on all size/model/colour combinations which looks extremely suspect to me. Looks to me they are trying to get as many orders as possible regardless of stock by still claiming release day delivery. Then just before the unlucky people will get notified that sorry has been a delay we didn't get the stock we were expecting hoping you won't try and cancel as would be difficult to get it on release elsewhere
 
I love this thread and always feel as if we all become a big iPhone family



until 2 days after launch when we all lose interest in it and the forums dies for another year :D

I enjoy the week leading up to delivery, the deciphering of serial numbers, hacking UPS to find tracking numbers etc etc. Then seeing the pics of boxes arriving.

I know Im sad
