Has anyone in the UK had their order marked as Dispatched from Apple.com?

Not yet... still "Preparing for Dispatch"

I don't think that's going to happen until Tuesday or after for us who is getting their iPhone this coming Friday.

What's wrong with that? You can't have activated a phone you haven't recieved yet.

Hi, how did you do this? Over the phone or in a store? Would be useful as my whole family is with Three and a few friends too.

Over the phone. Whilst the woman was confirming the deal with me, I just asked

"Can you add in some 3 minutes for me or anything?" And she said "Yeah absolutely"

Do they do one for the 6 and would I be able to fit it in with a slim fit case on the phone?

Here is a link to their IP6 cases, not many available for the plus yet though. http://www.beyzacases.com/apple-cases/iphone-cases/iphone-6-cases

However, my case fits very snuggly and an IP5 with any sort of case would not fit in. It is this one, suede but the same design as the Zero in previous link. http://www.beyzacases.com/apple-cas...5-and-5S-cases/slimline-stitches-for-iphone-5

I bought applecare + on my iPhone 5S last year. It still has a year to run. I guess I can't transfer it to my new 6 or pass it on to whoever buys my 5s?

You can transfer it to someone else, you need to call up to do so though.

I am waiting for beyzacases to release more of their cases for iPhone 6 Plus, right now I ordered a clear back cover to protect it from scratches temp.

beyzacases cases are really good.

I pre-ordered mine on Friday.

When I did, it said delivery on 19/9, but by the time I'd edited my delivery address to my office, and paid, the confirmation email said 7-10 business days. Now looking at 29/9-2/10 because I wasn't prepared

#rookieError

Been preparing for dispatch for a while. How long can it take to print out an address label and stick it in a box?
Anyway I'll be looking forward to Friday a little more this week than usual.

I know that feeling, and yes, I am looking forward to this Friday a lot more.

I do love these threads in the run-up to release day, gives me the same feeling I used to have as a kid the week before christmas or my birthday.

Ordered through o2, got what I wanted although the website was very trying for most of Friday (and annoying that for most of the day I was busy chairing a meeting and then on trains with signal dropping out), using their mobile app in the early evening. Must admit I was exasperated by then, and on the point of giving up, maybe waiting until all the fuss had died down over the weekend, but one last try for the hell of it while I was on the toilet came up trumps!

Went for the iPhone 6 128GB Gold - I was originally going to choose the 6+ but decided against it after trying a card mock-up in a couple of trouser pockets. I travel a lot for work, listen to music all the time and out of habit I prefer to keep my phone in the same pocket - the bigger size wouldn't be comfortable.

Anyway, I'm enjoying the collective fever, and I'm looking forward to being able to carry around most of my music collection for the first time since I stopped using an iPod some years ago.

Getting free 3 to 3 mins on sim plan

Over the phone. Whilst the woman was confirming the deal with me, I just asked

I didn't even have to ask, when they ran thru the plan with me (£15 a month, unlimited texts &data, 4GB of tethering, 200 mins calls and 2000 three to three mins) it was there.

If it hadn't been mentioned I'd have told them that other people were getting the three to three mins :)

Apparently Phones.co.uk are a very dodgy company with horrible customer support.

Anyone here used them before?

That's what I think too however what do you mean by customer support? You're buying off EE, they're just a reseller. No cash back redemption etc. involved. I'm going to call them tomorrow.

I bought a similar deal on mobiles.co.uk before and anytime I had queries about signal or allowance/bolt on I'd call o2 not them.

i like iTunes match, but personally it'll only get good value if they ever release iTunes radio over here!

thats basically spotify but for cheaper. Yes please! i can't bring myself to pay £10 a month on spotify

By the way I walked into Carphone WH today and had a look at Note 3 - there's no way I'm going to buy iPhone Plus - anything 5" + just too big! iPhone 6 for me...

They have HORRENDOUS reviews! https://www.trustpilot.co.uk/review/phones.co.uk

By bad customer support means they claim phone is in stock and then you get emailed saying out of stock and it's then impossible to actually get hold of anyone, you don't know how long you have to wait and can't speak to anyone to cancel the order.

Once you have the phone then everything is through the network, however any problems receiving the phone you have to deal with them. Great deal if you receive the phone without any problems, but people have had terrible problems when phone hasn't been delivered

+1 Looking for a sock or something I can slide the phone in and out of. Don't really want to cover up the iPhone when it's being used. I'm not sure if the current socks/pouches will fit the 6+ :|

Have a look at some of the hand-made sleeves available at etzy.com - I've ordered a really nice linen/microfibre sleeve for about £12. A lot of the sellers have options to specify what exact phone you're using, if you're also using a hard case etc

That's why I'm going to call them tomorrow about availability + porting numbers. Worst comes to worst will buy sim free and get 3 or o2 sim only plan (Carphone WH o2 deals!). By the way even o2 has 3/10 rating on trustpilot...

I recon their efforts will move more to bringing Beats Music internationally. I can see there being an update to iTunes in the future that integrates it and then they will quietly ditch iTunes Radio.

tesco

does anyone know when tesco mobile will take pre-orders, they are always much slower than the rest to take preorders. The last few times it was the wednesday before
