My case is still processing, but I ordered it on the 13th so hopefully it changes tomorrow. Same for my applecare.

I'm feeling rather stupid, ordered my 6+ with a silicone case in the same order, cancelled the case as it says its shipping in October. Anyone got any idea if this is going to affect delivery by 19th? Image

No it wont, you will still get your phone on the 19th, cancelling one item in the order doesnt delay any other items, you will be fine for your 19th delivery date.

My last year iPhone 5s was problem free.
Fingers cross for a problem free iPhone would hate to wait around two weeks for a replacement phone.

Yeah fingers crossed it will be fine!

Anyway, how do people find GiffGaff? Seen a £12 SIM-Only deal, and just wondered how you lovely lot rate them? :D

Thank you!

I've found GiffGaff's data speeds to be atrocious recently. Most of last week I struggled to get more than 1Mbps in a major city. My mates were getting over ten times this on EE/3.

I've just switched to EE. Used to really like GG as well. :(

Hey guys, I ordered an iPhone 6 64GB, first time I've bough outright..in the madness of Friday morning I selected to deliver to where I live..however I realised that I then had classes etc. I can't cancel my order or anything..do you know what company delivers the iPhone? Will they give it to next door?

Giff Gaff

Evening! :D

Hope everyone is well! Unfortunately I didn't get around to buying one or managing to reserve one (Plymouth store seemed to have next to no Plus 64gb! :p) so will queue from the early hours on Friday and hope for the best! :D

Hi,

I've been with them for years and they've been pretty good to be fair. It's even better if you have family and friends with giff gaff because Giff Gaff to Giff Gaff calls are free ;)

I don't use much data just sat nav use in the car etc and a bit of browsing so I use the £7.50 tariff, couple that with an unlocked phone and your on a winner. They use the O2 network so coverage will be similar I guess.

Good luck!

Usually UPS but sometimes they leave it with a neighbour or return it to depot where you can pick it up the next day or so.

My too. I'm switching away from them with my new iPhone. 90% of the time I can't even watch a youtube vid these days. It was fine a few months back.

I tried Giffgaff last week it was bad speedtest was so slow it didn't even finished the test.
I think giffgaff took on to many customers without upgrading their network.

Stick to Three or EE for your iPhone experience.

My iPhone 6 plus is due 30th sept - 3rd oct.......ordered on Friday.......if I decide to order a case now, is that likely to put my date back for the iPhone itself so they ship together, or will they just ship seperately?

GiffGaff use the O2 network, so it will be O2 in your area thats the problem. I'm with GG and have no issues with them.

Separate orders, so should ship separately.

I'm in O2 and attain 50mbps on 4G

I've tried GiffGaff and suffered with lag - I hear they are stopping some 3G unlimited goody bags due to illegal tethering etc.

Even then Three have a crappy 4G network...I just switched from Three to EE and 4G coverage is so, so much better.

Maybe so but I don't really mind as I generally get 14-19MBPS over 3G from Three. Unlimited data inc. tethering, 1200mins, 2000 3 to 3 mins and 5000 texts for £15 will keep me with them for the foreseeable future.

I'm going to get it. Purely due to betting the screen will be a fortune to change!! Plus it's piece of mind.

Yeah, I'll probably get it again too. I have my 5s up for sale on eBay so hopefully it's a selling point as you can transfer it to another user.

Yay! My two covers black and midnight blue for the 6 plus has just been dispatched :D

Do you think Apple will hold much 6+ stock on Friday? My online preorder is saying 3/4 weeks but not sure whether to queue at Kingston Bentalls Friday in hope of getting one earlier

It is possible due I think 6 plus stock is quite low in general hence why it is so quickly snapped up.

Think il give the store a call, see what they say. Their inventory must slowly be updating for Friday so they may have a rough idea

Preordered the iPhone 6 plus from phones4u in town last Friday hoping it comes on or before the 19th (iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 plus launch day) got a good deal on Vodafone paid £189 up front and paying £48.50 a month for unlimited calls, texts and 7gb of 4g data. Really can't wait for it to come very excited :D

That's assuming Apple even offer broken screen repairs on the i6.

It was only earlier this year they started offering screen replacements in store for the i5 wasn't it?

£79 for AC+ with 2 x £55 on top for 2 x replacement iPhone 6 + makes total sense to me.

I don't think it's worth the risk of not taking it out, smashing the screen (or worse) and discovering that a whole replacement unit for £400 or something is your only option.

It doesn't work like that. They do use the same network but giffgaff can crawl when O2 is flying. I've found to my cost that giffgaff isn't simply a cheaper O2.
